2024 Rankings: Stock Risers

With 315 players, there are bound to be players that saw their rankings drop, but also players that saw their stock rise.    There were 56 new players and here are some of the stock risers. We actually had probably close to 40 players that saw their stock rise but     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here are the 15-top stock risers since September:  </h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='1141426' first='Jase' last='Kooima'] Williams Field +118   A bigger sized scoring guard can fill it up from all three levels. He had some huge games this season versus top opponents. He can shoot it from the three and pull-up from mid-range off the dribble. He uses his size and strength to score inside.   [player_tooltip player_id='2039505' first='Braylon' last='Haman'] Willow Canyon +94   A true two-way defensive guard who can also score. He had a big year for the West Valley school. He is good in transition, loves the floater game and can rattle in threes.   [player_tooltip player_id='1483885' first='AB' last='Mendoza'] Catalina Foothills +87   A highly skilled power forward grew a little and can score it from all levels. He has advanced post footwork and can step out and hit shots from the perimeter. He rebounds well and is more athletic then you realize.   [player_tooltip player_id='1674511' first='Kaelum' last='Brown'] Casteel +84   The big man has good strength and brings his lunch pail to every game. He rebounds at a high level with a motor and brings skill to the court. He will score on crab dribbles and is sneaky athletic to throw it down. He will block shots and bring energy to the court. He has that next level speed and reads the game very quickly. He throws dimes to his teammates on time and on point. He bursts past his defenders and can hit the three. His lateral quickness allows him to pester the ball. He can score with catch threes, get downhill to score thru traffic and he is a multipositonal defender. He is a late bloomer and is improving before our eyes. He is best at protecting the paint while blocking shots and rebounding. He will score on dunks and put backs.   [player_tooltip player_id='1633025' first='Connor' last='Lamont'] Williams Field +75   A versatile wing forward came back off an injury and had a big year. He can play and defend multiple positions and handles it well to score on his own in the lane to pull-up from mid-range or get it to the line.   [player_tooltip player_id='1464008' first='Jayson' last='Covington'] Corona del Sol +75   One of the top end athletic lead guards. He flies in the open court and has speed to burn. He uses it on the defensive end with his quick twitch athleticism. He can make plays, turn the corner and make perimeter jumpers.   [player_tooltip player_id='1483884' first='Taimari' last='Jones'] McClintock +66   A versatile power forward is a three level scorer and defender. He can make the three, dunk it on the break and hit shots from mid-range plus post up with advanced footwork in the paint. He rebounds and blocks shots. He will control the paint on defense with blocking shots and gobbling up all balls in and out of his area. He scores on put backs and transition layups. He can score with his back to the basket with some counter moves to utilize. He rebounds at a high clip in his area   [player_tooltip player_id='2039504' first='Jyren' last='Griffin'] Buckeye +61   A true three level scorer is a scoring guard who can fill it up. He makes shots from mid to the three point line and fall away from his opponent. He can get to the basket with a sneaky burst and upper body strength plus is good on the ball defensively.   [player_tooltip player_id='1216991' first='Sagith' last='Vargas'] Rancho Solano Prep +59   A tough minded scoring point guard. He sets the table to make plays for his teammates and can get downhill thru contact plus hit the three off the pull or catch.   [player_tooltip player_id='1350772' first='Jonas' last='Cederlind'] Perry +58   The lefty guard has been a nice compliment to the forwards of the team with Peat and Harrison. He can handle ball pressure and score it. He can shoot the three and make some plays for others.
