Now for the fun. In order to pick the Tournament MVP, first the team winner needs to be predicted. Rossview will become Regional Tournament Champions. They will destroy their first two opponents and probably defeat their third by double digits. Contenders for the crown are West Creek and Kirkwood. Even Kirkwood, a tremendous upstart program in their first year, dropped all three games to RHS this season. It deserves mention that KHS only lost by two points, 69-67, when they hosted the Hawks January 12th.

Following along in their headspace, with Rossview the PrepHoopsTN predicted champion, one of the Hawks is the clear MVP pick. As solid as [player_tooltip player_id='1476194' first='Cam' last='Ward'] is, a slashing two-way dynamo, [player_tooltip player_id='2352385' first='Landon' last='Hankemeier'] continues to put up double-doubles.

LH racked up double-figures in scoring 26 of 27 games this year. For the last 17 games Hankemeier managed 10 or more points. Four times he put up 10+ rebounds in a single game. Although Landon's recent honor of being named District MVP was well deserved, the PrepHoopsTN pick for Region 7 Tournament MVP is [player_tooltip player_id='2361130' first='Jacob' last='Edwards'].

[player_tooltip player_id='2361130' first='Jacob' last='Edwards'] burst onto the PrepHoopsTN radar this year early. A strong, future college player, Jacob put in those "hours that you don't see" throughout his high school days and now the viewers and opponents get to see.

Quamond Linsey is a critical part of the Rossview success, but Edwards is more consistently getting points. Points are frequently the number one determiner of Tournament MVP's, either the accumulation of or the points scored in the final minutes. Edwards will be that guy.

Players to consider from other participating teams are Prophet Basden (Kirkwood) or [player_tooltip player_id='1575564' first='Kameron' last='Bowers'] (West Creek) or [player_tooltip player_id='2102926' first='Amaree' last='Lafortune'] (West Creek).
