Records are meant to be broken and that is what rising junior Julius Gizzi Julius Gizzi 6'3" | SG New Palestine | 2025 State IN did last night. In New Palestine’s 86-39 win over Connersville, 2025 shooting guard Julius Gizzi Julius Gizzi 6'3" | SG New Palestine | 2025 State IN finished with 34 points and 8 rebounds thus surpassing his order brother, Maximus’ single season scoring record at New Pal. Per Kyle Neddenriep, Julius is now at 628 points and counting. Julius is very skilled with the ball, shoots it at a high level from beyond the arc, and rebounds well from the perimeter. Keep an eye on him the next year as he continues to grow as a player.
Jeffersonville gets HHC win over Jennings County
Down in Southern Indiana, the Red Devils of Jeffersonville improved to 12-7 on the year going on the road to beat HHC rival Jennings County 77-61. Jeff was led in scoring by P.J. Douglas P.J. Douglas 6'4" | SF Jeffersonville | 2025 State IN with 27 points with his fellow junior teammate Michael Cooper Michael Cooper 6'2" | PG Jeffersonville | 2025 State IN adding 25 points. Carter Kent Carter Kent 6'0" | PG Jennings County | 2025 State IN was leading scorer for the Panther with a game-high 30 points. The Red Devils are getting hot at the right time having won 4 of their last 5 games.
