We introduce our updated Class of 2025 rankings!! Rankings are subjective and PrepHoops.com ranks purely upon potential and where the player will be at their basketball peak. Production factors in only when helping prove the potential is greater or lesser. Why did we rank these guys? Why are they at this spot? Take a look at five Class of 2025 prospects and learn a little about their reputation. Peruse the complete 2025 rankings.

#131 Nathan Russell Nathan Russell 6'4" | SG Powell | 2025 State TN (Powell)

A camper with PrepHoopsTN way back in February of 2023, Nathan (6’4″ 185) took a couple of medium steps. Now, Russell is even better with his handles. Does not need the basketball to be effective, as he rebounds and moves off of the ball well. Still, Russell can score. He is one of the best scorers on a great Powell Panther (20-4) team.

High-academic.

Russell finished with double-doubles repeatedly this season. For example, he tugged down nine against Knox Central, 10 against Karns, 10 rebounds versus Campbell County and 9 the next time he played Campbell County.

#133 Colin Brown Colin Brown 6'1" | PG Tennessee | 2025 State TN (Tennessee)

In the last 6ish months Colin Brown Colin Brown 6'1" | PG Tennessee | 2025 State TN grew from 5-foot-9 to 6-foot-1. The guard is a wonderful scorer for the Vikings, dropping 37 on Abingdon (VA) January 27th.

#134 Wyatt Gilleland Wyatt Gilleland 6'7" | PF Rockvale | 2025 State TN (Siegel)

Great frame for a small college forward. Shooting touch is encouraging. What is his range in-game? That is unclear, only because I have not watched enough Siegel this winter. During camp in October he was an adept mid-range guy with touch around the rim.

Gilleland is light on his feet for a high school forward. Likes to block shots. Like most high school hoopers, he can get even stronger. Good natural strength though.

#135 Micah Shaw Micah Shaw 6'0" | SG Stewarts Creek | 2025 State TN (Stewarts Creek)

Micah turned heads at the PrepHoopsTN Combine in October with his exceptional three-point shooting. Only one camper was hotter than the scalding Shaw. Micah is a great teammate, whether it be with Team 4EO, Stewarts Creek High, or even in a camp setting. He defends, rebounds, and scores. Most importantly, perhaps, he communicates with his teammates and takes joy in their successes. Shaw will always be a positionless talent. Built like a wrestler with the shooting touch of a marksmen, Shaw takes a couple possessions to grow on you, as an evaluator. Winner.
