From shooters to the junkyard dog and defensive specialists, these kids know how to compete and leave it all out on the line. They are extremely coachable and the improvements they have made have been tremendous throughout their season.
Jackson Klitzing- Klitzing is a lefty who can shoot it with the best of them from behind the line. He has continuously shown that he can shoot it and sometimes more than he should. He has been adding things to his game like using his size to his advantage and finishing well at the rim in various ways. Klitzing is very skilled and has a high IQ that will make him a successful basketball player at the next level.
Darnell Colbert- Darnell is a guard who is extremely fast and quick, making it extremely tough to keep up with. With his speed and quickness, he causes havoc on both ends of the floor. Starting with the defensive side of things he puts pressure on his own full-court man press. His speed allows him to keep up with the best ball handlers on the floor and turn them from side to side often times turning the ball over. When he has the ball he’s a great option to be the point guard because of his ability to get wherever he wants to on the court and set teammates up.
Cole Dallien- Cole is your primetime shooter, if he gets it in rhythm you can pretty much count it. His smooth-looking form allows him to be consistent and he does a good job of getting open. He’s a great example of an undersized 2 guard because of his ability to shoot and it allows him to focus on what he can do to help his team win. He has shown promise of being a good leader because his peers listen to him.
Sen’Tonyo Dyas- Dyas is one of those players who does all the intangibles to help his team win. He has been a great leader for his Avengers group in terms of getting them organized for practices and getting them warmed up promptly. He plays the passing lane extremely well on defense and knows exactly where to be on the offensive end. He’s a big-time glue guy who can go crash those offensive rebounds and help your team come up with 2nd chances.
Jaxson Wilson- Wilson is the X factor for this Avengers 6th grade group. When his team is making a big-time run and you are wondering what next you can expect Jaxson to make a big play for you. From a corner 3 or a big-time block, Wilson comes in at the right time to help his team extend that lead or cut into any deficit that may be happening. He does all the little things from setting good screens and getting his teammates open.
