Gage Peterson Gage Peterson 6'6" | SF Waltonville | 2026 State IL (Waltonville – 2026)
Peterson is a prospect we really like as a big wing in the sophomore class. He got off to a slow start on Saturday and played the majority of the game out of the post. Fouled on crafty moves and got a couple buckets on post ups although he did miss a few bunnies. Had a pair of and-1s in the second half with one coming on a sweet baseline turnaround jumper and other out of the dunker spot. Was tough on the glass in this one while netting 14 points.
Kyle Cooper Kyle Cooper 6'0" | PG Waltonville | 2026 State IL (Waltonville – 2026)
Cooper emerged on our radar in this game. Shifty ball handler that has shake off the bounce including dropping his defender before hitting a pull up three. Slean shot that can hit them off the bounce or off movement. Scored 14 points in the game on Saturday against Triad.
Wood Cary Wood Cary 6'1" | PG Moline | 2026 State IL (Moline – 2026)
Cary caught our attention over the summer at the Romeoville Live Event and continues to intrigue. Long and rangy point guard with broad shoulders to add strength. Slick ball handler that won on straight line takes getting to the cup. Also hit a three. Versatility as a defender and looks like he will continue to grow. Scored 7 points.
Jordan Boyd (Desmet, MO – 2026)
Boyd is a strong bodied lefty wing that puts it on the deck with purpose. Loved how he would rip it and take it to the hole with force. Scored at the rim on a variety of slashes, and-1s, and trips to the line. Rebounds well for his position. Finished with 11 points.
Ty Laur Ty Laur 6'6" | C Pinckneyville | 2026 State IL (Pinckneyville – 2026)
Laur stands at 6’6” and the center has a bright future. Going to continue to grow and already flashes intriguing tools. Hit a top of the key three early, can really pass it for a big man, and was effective as a post defender along with causing a turnover when guarding in a ball screen.
Dariontez Monroe (Sparta – 2027)
Monroe jumped off the floor in the first game of the day we caught. Lefty 5’11” combo guard that has good length was excellent attacking downhill for scores in the paint with his crafty handles. Takes good angles and is nifty with his finishing game. Pushes well in the open floor going coast to coast off a defensive rebound. Streaky shooter that did manage to hit one from the top of the key in the second half. Rebounds it very well for a guard. He had 13 points.
Brady Hasquin (Triad – 2027)
Hasquin is a multisport athlete that is rock solid. Good strength with length. Crisp passer and mixed in some scores in the paint for 8 points. Should eventually be the lead guard of this Triad squad.
Michael Organ (Centralia – 2027)
Have been hearing some buzz for a few weeks about Organ. The lefty is a sharp shooter at 6’0” that has a beautiful stroke from beyond the arc. He did just that against Teutopolis draining three of them off the catch for his 9 points.
Brady Welch (Moline – 2027)
Welch is a freshman sharp shooter just like Grant was for this squad. The 2027 point guard stands at 5’11” with deep range on his shot letting it fly with ease. Also mixed in a runner for 8 points.
Arthur Abbey (Moline – 2027)
Abbey got the start at the point for Moline. The 5’10” freshman is a shifty ball handler that has a ton of shake to his game. At times looked a little overwhelmed, but others he made big plays. Hit a pair of threes including a key one in overtime. Moves well laterally on the defensive end and should grow into a nice defender. He had 6 points.
