Patterson Thacker Patterson Thacker 6'2" | PF TN (6’1/PF/’28/NYBA)

Patterson is a stout interior presence who made a living on the glass. If I was listing the camp’s glass cleaners, Paterson would be the face of the group. He was very physical in the paint as he defended well, putting up a lot of opposition to post players looking to go to work on the low block. He still needs to develop his offensive toolbox, but as long as he continues to rebound at a high rate, he can find some time on the floor this spring and summer. However, as he makes the transition to the high school level, he is going to have to expand his game outside of the paint.
Lucas Kinnard (5’10/CG/’28/Tennessee Marathon)
IG: lucaskinnard2
X: @lkinnard5
Lucas is a highly skilled backcourt player who has his entire arsenal on display. He is very tough off the bounce and does a good job getting to his spots, especially his middle game. As good as he was off the bounce, he is a lethal trey ball shooter. He has a nice all-around game with a scoring prowess that was difficult for anyone defending him to keep under control. Lucas has an impressive combination as a playmaker and as a scorer and saw his stock rise at the camp.
Will Brown (6’0/SG/’28/RCE)
IG: Thewb11
Will is a legitimate multi-level scorer who really shot the ball well from behind the arc. He has a really soft touch when he is attacking off the bounce and getting into his floater game. The eval of Will is simple; he can flat-out score the rock and was one of the best shooters in camp.
JP Strong (5’11/SG/’28/Stars)
IG: jpgottnext
JP was an aggressive guard who was looking to get downhill and put pressure on the rim. He was one of the best finishers off the bounce, whether in the paint or directly at the cup. JP isn’t wasteful with his dribbles as he makes his move and hits his gaps. He is a creative offensive scorer who is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential.
Mathew White (5’6/PG/’28/ETG)
IG: mattw_2028
X: @mattw_28
Matthew is a small guard with a quick first step and is lightning quick off the bounce. He played with pace and often got his team out in transition and early offense. He was one of the toughest players to keep out of the paint, as his speed was too much for most defenders who attempted to contain him. You would think that with his size, he would look to drive and spray as he got in the midst of the trees, but he was looking to score the rock most of the time. He is a crafty finisher and made some tough finishes over length. Developing his PG IQ will be crucial as he prepares to transition to the high school level.
Trevor Jackson Duke (5’5/SG/’28/NYBA 2028)
IG: Tjduke11
X: @Tjduke11
Trevor continues to improve every time I see him play, which is exactly what you look for in young players who have enjoyed success early in their careers. He is starting to come into his own and look a lot more confident as both a facilitator and a scorer. He is showing a lot more burst when getting downhill, along with good body control and an impressive ability to change speeds and directions. We will definitely be keeping an eye on him this spring and summer.
