<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2119115' first='Peyton' last='McCollum']-Derek Quinlan (Maryville): The talented set of guards make up one of the top backcourt tandems in the Northwest part of the state. Both are excellent shooters who make more than 40 percent of their 3-point attempts. The 6'1" McCullum is a 2025 guard who is averaging 18 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.2 steals a game. The 6'2" Quinlin is a 2024 guard who averages 17 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals a game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1419869' first='Corbin' last='Allen']-[player_tooltip player_id='1422720' first='Caleb' last='Estes'] (Oak Park): These two 2025 standouts have been starters since their freshman years and are currently the linchpins of the Northmen's 22-3 campaign this season. Estes is 6'3" guard who averages 16.4 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals a game. He is a potent offensive player. The 6'5" Allen is a do-it-all performer who averages 16.3 points, eight rebounds, 3.7 assists and two steals a game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1162361' first='DJ' last='Long']-[player_tooltip player_id='1563225' first='Jaydon' last='Eldridge'] (Mexico): This talented duo makes up one of the top backcourt combos in Mid-Missouri. Together, they have led the Bulldogs to a 23-2 record and the No. 8 ranking in the Class 4 state polls. Long is a 2024 point guard who is averaging 18.7 points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals a game. Eldridge is an athletic 2025 guard who is averaging 14.8 points and four rebounds a game while shooting 48 percent from the field.</p>

<p>Nate Breeze-Kaleb Weiler (Jefferson): The Blue Jays achieved a 20-victory season behind this talented duo. Breeze is a 6'3" 2024 recently scored his 1,000th career point and also has a triple-double to his credit. He is averaging 21.6 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals a game. Weiler is a 6'4" 2024 forward who puts in work inside. He is currently averaging 16 points and nearly 10 rebounds a game while shooting 63 percent from the field.</p>

<p>Ramelo Smith-[player_tooltip player_id='1881823' first='Larry' last='Porter'] (Raytown): These two 2025 standouts make up one of the top backcourts in the Kansas City area. Smith is a 6'0" point guard who averages a team-high 16.3 points along with three rebounds and three assists a game. He is a slick ball handler who can create offense for himself and others. The 6'3" Porter is an athletic shooting guard who averages 15.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and nearly two steals a game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1160846' first='Corbin' last='Axtell']-Zack Cross (Grundy County): A pair of 2024 wings who have powered Grundy County to a 22-3 record and a No. 1 seed in the upcoming Class 1 district playoffs next week. Axtell is a 6'2" lefty who is averaging 18.6 points, nine rebounds and three assists a game. Cross is a 6'3" athletic wing who is averaging 15 points, nine rebounds and four assists a game.</p>

<p>Nikos Cannaway-Pacey Reading (Van Far): The two standout perimeter players have led the Indians to a 20-5 regular season. The 5'10" Cannaway is a four-year starter at point guard. He is currently averaging 17 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals a game. Reading is a 6'4" small forward who has emerged as a top threat this season. He is currently averaging 15 points and five rebounds while making 62 3-pointers.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1160824' first='Chaz' last='Watson']-[player_tooltip player_id='1428010' first='Logan' last='Bishop'] (Lee's Summit West): These 6'3" 2024 guards have had the Titans among the state's top Class 6 teams for the past two seasons. Watson is a creative bucket-getter who averages 14.7 points and six rebounds a game while making 55 3-pointers. Bishop is a high-motor guard who averages 12 points a game and can also shoot it from 3-point range.</p>

Salonies is a talented 5'11" 2026 point guard who averages nearly 20 points a game along with four assists and three rebounds. Hayes is a versatile 6'5" small forward who averages 14.7 points and eight rebounds while shooting 46 percent from the field.</p>
