Here were the Sophomore Forward Standouts from the week

[player_tooltip player_id='1490238' first='JD' last='Jones'] Phoenix Country Day (Pictured)

A thicker wing is the son of James Jones (Suns). He is a physical downhill player who takes contact and will bounce off of the defender with his frame. He has a very clean three point stroke, which has exponentially improved since last year. The ball rotates like it should and has the high arc needed. He moves well in space to defend and he is an out of area rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='2339084' first='Samuel' last='Kalikilwa'] West Point

A wing forward who can score. He has the left hand layup in traffic, he can fall away from mid-range off the dribble, ball fake into a floater and handles it good enough with a feel to make a play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956209' first='Ruben' last='White'] Maricopa

A strong framed post player is a high level rebounder with his length and motor. He has good hands to catch tough passes in traffic and will score near the rim. He is a sneaky good passer and plays hard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950115' first='Alex' last='Taylor'] Desert Vista

A long wing forward uses his length well in the passing lanes to bother his opponents. He is a very good defender in space. He takes long strides to basket and he can euro down the lane.

[player_tooltip player_id='1901422' first='Andrew' last='Nichols'] Gilbert

A warrior inside paint and had good showing of around 20 points and 10 rebounds. He scores it solely in the paint with jump hook shots, offensive rebound put backs and even alley oops in the air. He seems to grabs every rebound in his area as he works hard for position using his thicker frame and physique.

[player_tooltip player_id='1875723' first='Edgar' last='Hardwick'] West Point

A wing forward is a plus athlete to rebound and is very active on the glass. He has quick hands and moves his feet well in space to keep his opponents in front of him. He smartly will move without the ball and cuts when he should and he is a sneaky good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950100' first='London' last='Haskell'] Mesa

A power forward is a rebound machine with his length and frame. The lefty has a decent free throw stroke and will crab dribble and go up to score. He passes well out of the double team and he is a supreme shot blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950101' first='Koi' last='Sharpe'] Mesa

A wing forward is a top notch defender and rebounder. He moves well in space to defend. He scores on drives to the basket, he can post up, hit the catch or pull three and brings a lot of activity to the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325957' first='Tanner' last='Morris'] ALA Gilbert North

A wing forward is a top notch rebounder. He is a tough player who defends multiple positions and can score from inside and out with his skill and strength.
