Teagan Swint Teagan Swint 6'4" | SF Newton North | 2025 State New E , Newton North, Position Wing, Class Junior, HT 6’4,
Tegan is having a very strong season for the Tigers. He started the season off with 35 points in the first game. He is a deadly scorer, and is one of the top scorers in the MIAA this season. He is a three level scorer that can score in the open floor, at the rim, and from beyond the arc. He is a 6-4 wing that can play inside and out, and he has a good skill set to match his size. On defense he can guard multiple positions. Tegan impacts the game in multiple ways. Tegan was out much of last season due to injurie, so its nice to see him back on the court. Newton North has a bunch of games in the coming weeks due to the last two weeks postponement.
Tyson Robinson, Newton South, Position C, HT 6’6, Class Sophomore
Tyson has been a rim protector for Newton South. He makes anything tough for players driving in the lane. You will see him have some big blocks, and he averages 3 blocks per game. Offensively Tyson is really developing his overall skill set. He can finish at the rim or above the rim, and even step outside and shoot the three. Tyson has had multiple games scoring over 15 points this season. Tyson is improving every game I watch, and he has a lot of potential. Tyson is one of the top Centers in the DCL. Like Newton North, Newton south will have a bunch of games to close out the season, due to the postponement the last 2 weeks.
Steph Barnes Steph Barnes 5'10" | PG Waltham | 2024 State New E , Waltham, HT 5’10, Position PG, Class Senior
Stephan has helped lead Waltham to their current 12-2 record. Barnes is one of the top Point Guards in the MIAA. He is a very good passer, and has also had a number of 20 point games this season. He is a high motor Guard, who gets to his spots quickly, and is very efficient. He dribbles with a purpose and does a really good job at creating separation from the defense. He works very hard on the defensive side of the ball as well. Barnes is not committed yet, and will make what ever college program he attends better.
Brian Cloonan Brian Cloonan 6'2" | CG Needham | 2024 State New E , Needham, Position G, Class Senior, HT 6’2
Brian has had many big games for the Rockets this season. Recently he had 23 points in a win against Weymouth. Brian can control the game on offense with his scoring. He is a skilled guard who is a three level scorer. He also has good court vision, and makes players around him better. Brian has a well rounded skill set on offense, and will get you stops on the defensive side of the floor. Brian is committed to Claremont-Mckenna, and watching him play you can tell his game will translate really well to the next level. Needham will look to take it one step further this year, as last year they made the State championship.
Josiah Adamson, Catholic Memorial, HT 6’3, Position CG, Class 2027
Josiah is not your typical Freshman. He plays way above his age level is proving to be a high level and special talent. He has had many big moments so far this season, including a 39 point performance against ST johns Prep. Josiah is an explosive guard, with a very quick first step. He is a three level scorer. He can finish at or above the rim, shoot from the outside, and is tough to stop going downhill. His IQ and instincts are way above what you expect in a Freshman. Catholic Memorial is currently number 1 ranked in the MIAA D1 power rankings.
