He’s a long wing type prospect with a good upside. He can play inside using his length to get rebounds, and score cutting across the paint. He’s comfortable out on the perimeter looking to put up 3’s, he spots up in the corners, or he’ll use his dribble to get closer, he has a short jumper. He passes well along the perimeter, and he’ll run the court for transition points. He gives good effort guarding out on the perimeter
He’s a big body prospect with size and movement on the court. He gets things done working inside using foot work, and strength, he can handle the physical play to get key buckets inside. He’s shown he can step out to hit an occasional 3ptr from the top. He works the high post with good passing, and the short corner where he’ll put it on the floor to attack the defender. At 6’6 he’s the teams top rebounder.
Woodley is a pass first point guard with a good jump shot he’ll take if you leave him open. He’s a good ball handler with vision, and passing, he handles pressure bringing the ball up court, he’ll split through double teams, and make the long pass up. He does well setting the team in half-court sets, moving the ball around the perimeter, and finding cutters across the lane.
He’s a big guard that can hit the jump shot. His form is good, he’ll use a dribble to get to his spots or spot up on the catch, he’ll hit the 3 along the perimeter. He can attack the rim along the baseline using his solid body or pull-up for the short corner jumper. He’s strong enough to go into the post to battle rebounds and points. He averages 6 rebounds with 12pts.
We spotted Tanner in an early season tournament when he dropped 30 points while missing a few teammates. He has speed, slick handles to get by defenders along the perimeter and in transition using crossovers going forward keeping defenders off balance and getting his points. He hit 3’s in transition, he knocked down 3’s spotting up along the perimeter. He has good handles, with a burst on the perimeter. He went for 30, but had good passing.
He’s a 3 sport athlete with a future at the next level. Standing 6’6 weighing 240 lbs, he brings good movement to the basketball court, and has presence working in the post on both sides of the court. His ability to score points in the paint opens things up for other players around the perimeter, he’s a good passer. He can defend other post players with size and strength, he’ll get rebounds.
He doesn’t stuff the stat sheet, but does some of the other things that might get overlooked during a game. He has a good size body standing 6’3, he can be physical in the paint defending and going for rebounds on both ends. He bumps players off their path. He’s a good ball mover with a good jump shot he’ll take from mid-range if it’s there.
He’s a hard playing prospect, probably still growing. He’s not scoring a lot of points but he gives good effort working around the basket fighting for rebounds, put backs, and defending bigger players. He has lengthy arms and good foot speed to defend away from the basket, he’ll distract shooters in the corners. He runs the court both ways in transition.
He’s an all around guard with a good skill set. He doesn’t try to do too much. Good ball handling skills, fundamental passing, and he can knock down mid-range jumpers and 3 pointers if left open. He passes up in transition, works to fill lanes. He works hard on the defensive side of the ball.
He’s an excellent passer with vision, he sees the court. He’s a ball handler with speed to attack the gaps, and get into the paint for the no look passes. He’ll make the long pass up court, spot shooters in the corners and perimeter. He’s a good inbound passer. He has a jump shot, fills lanes in transition going hard to the rim. He has foot speed, length and gives good effort on defense.
He’s a 6’8 prospect with an improving skill set. He showed us he can hit the 3 point shot in the corners and at the top. He has the size at this level to be a go to guy in the paint, using a jump hook, and going up strong after turning. He’s a good passer from the free throw area, and the low post. He’ll screen, then roll to the front of the rim. He has good movement in the paint, he’ll get rebounds and defend his position.
