The junior class has made an impact on the floor this season and will look to continue it in the county tournament. Here are the 2025 prospects to watch in the Somerset County Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1456864' first='Myles' last='Parker'], 6'7 SG Rutgers Prep

Parker is in the midst of a breakout junior season as he has shown the ability to score inside and out. The lanky 6'7 wing has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Parker is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer. Parker is a long, wing prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor for the Argonauts over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2339158' first='Bohdan' last='Biekietov'], 6'8 PF Montgomery

Biekietov has had a strong season for the Cougars as he has established himself as their go-to post player. The 6'8 forward has a good touch around the basket and is able to draw contact down low. Biekietov can also put the ball on the floor and has a nice release on his free throws. He fights for rebounds on both end of the floor and influences shots around the basket. Biekietov had a season-high 21 points in his last game against Hillsborough and should continue his play in the county tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1943563' first='Zach' last='Patteta'], 6'5 PF Watchung Hills

Patteta has stepped up in a big way for the Warriors this season as he is the team's second leading scorer in 2023-24. The 6'5 forward uses his body well to get position down low and finishes nicely around the basket. Patteta can also play on the perimeter as he can put the ball on the floor and knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He works hard on the glass at both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. Patteta is a hard-working forward prospect who will look to continue his strong play down low in February.

[player_tooltip player_id='1412734' first='Luke' last='Kreitz'], 6'0 PG Ridge

Kreitz has established himself as the go-to guy for Ridge this season as he leads the team in scoring in 2023-24. The 6'0 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Kreitz is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the basket. He also has the ability to play off the ball and is a solid rebounder. Kreitz is a sharpshooting guard prospect who has the potential to have a big county tournament.

Shaylen Patel, G Franklin

Patel has taken a big step up this season as he is one of the Warriors' top shooters in 2023-24. He shoots the ball with confidence from behind the arc and can knock down triples in bunches. Patel moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He rarely forces shots in the halfcourt and slides his feet on defense. Patel's ability to knock down jumpers from behind the arc will help Franklin throughout the county tournament.

Other Prospects to Watch:

[player_tooltip player_id='2116520' first='Jackson' last='Morrison'], 6'3 SG Bound Brook

[player_tooltip player_id='1943556' first='Chigozi' last='Anyoura'], 6'5 PF Immaculata
