Welcome to tournament time in Indiana. On Tuesday night Sectional action tipped off across the great Hoosier state as teams began their quest to reach Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Now, on Wednesday night, we will get more first round matchups before the semifinals are played on Friday. Unfortunately, this time of year also means that teams will see their seasons come to an end. Half of the teams that suit up this evening won't have practice tomorrow. That is the exciting and heartbreaking dichotomy of this time of year. As always, Prep Hoops Indiana will be your one stop shop for everything you need to know throughout the 114th Annual IHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament. Let's take a look at the 10 best matchups on Wednesday night.

Greenfield-Central vs. Anderson (Sectional 9 @ Greenfield-Central)

The state's lone undefeated team, Greenfield-Central, will take the floor this evening against an 18-5 Anderson team that is very, very dangerous. Junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1297010' first='Damien' last='King'] will look to duel against classmate [player_tooltip player_id='1296984' first='Braylon' last='Mullins'] for a chance to advanced in the very well-balanced Sectional 9 bracket.

Arsenal Tech vs. Crispus Attucks (Sectional 10 @ Lawrence North)

Arsenal Tech had won six straight games prior to dropping one to defending Class 4A state champion Ben Davis to finish the regular season. They should not be over looked. However, Attucks' depth of talent including [player_tooltip player_id='1297019' first='Dezmon' last='Briscoe'], [player_tooltip player_id='1275771' first='Ron' last='Rutland III'], [player_tooltip player_id='1297004' first='Chris' last='Hurt'], [player_tooltip player_id='1158227' first='Mason' last='Lewis'], and company should be enough to advance the Tigers.

Lawrence North vs. North Central (Sectional 10 @ Lawrence North)

Both games at Lawrence North tonight will be fun to watch. North Central has a backcourt capable of keeping up with Lawrence North as [player_tooltip player_id='1297108' first='Rogelio' last='Rivera'], [player_tooltip player_id='1547489' first='Tim' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1547429' first='Jaxson' last='Bell'] will take on [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1158213' first='Kobi' last='Bowles'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1275769' first='Myles' last='Baker']. There will be plenty of firepower on the floor in this one.

Woodlan vs. Leo (Sectional 21 @ Woodlan)

The host Woodlan Warriors have the best record in the Sectional at 14-7, but will have to avenge a 60-46 loss to Leo from earlier in the season in order to advance. [player_tooltip player_id='1158186' first='Braden' last='Smith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2056300' first='Trey' last='Yoder'] are the prospects to watch for Woodlan. Meanwhile, Grand Valley State commit [player_tooltip player_id='1272450' first='Jackson' last='McGee'] leads the way for the Leo Lions.

Benton Central vs. West Lafayette (Sectional 22 @ Frankfort)

Benton Central got the better of this matchup, 80-69, earlier in the season, but West Lafayette will have revenge on their mind in this one. Whoever can advance will likely be on a collision course to face Twin Lakes in the Sectional championship game on Saturday.

Princeton vs. Heritage Hills (Sectional 31 @ Princeton)

If it feels like these two teams just played, it is because they did. Heritage Hills finished their regular season last Tuesday with a 67-52 win over Princeton. Now, [player_tooltip player_id='1297118' first='Trent' last='Sisley'] and company will look to defeat [player_tooltip player_id='1297040' first='Jace' last='Jenkins'], [player_tooltip player_id='1560964' first='Edwin' last='Holmes'], and the Tigers for a second consecutive time.

Manchester vs. Whitko (Sectional 37 @ Bluffton)

Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage from Sectional 37 at Bluffton High School this evening. Both of these teams are 18-4 on the season, but Whitko just recently won the regulars season battle 56-51 last Tuesday night. 6'7" junior froward [player_tooltip player_id='1297028' first='Gavin' last='Betten'] is the prospect to watch for Manchester as he comes in averaging 21.2 points, 10.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.1 blocks per game. He will matchup across from Whitko's senior duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1578432' first='Kyler' last='Krull'] (19.3 ppg, 6.1 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='1158228' first='Sam' last='Essegian'] (13.7 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 4.9 apg).

Wapahani vs. Lapel (Sectional 40 @ Alexandria)

Lapel turned some heads last week by knocking off Tipton 67-56 to extend their winning streak to 13 games. [player_tooltip player_id='1381459' first='Brode' last='Judge'] leads a talented group of Bulldogs that will look to pull yet another upset in the first round of Sectional 40. For Wapahani, senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1158181' first='Isaac' last='Andrews'] recently eclipsed the 2,000 career point milestone and will look to lead the Raiders on a postseason run.

Loogootee vs. Springs Valley (Sectional 63 @ Loogootee)

For fans down in southern Indiana, Sectional 63 has a good matchup between 15-7 Loogootee and 13-9 Springs Valley. Junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1297013' first='Deion' last='Edwards'] is doing things at Springs Valley that haven't been done since the days of Larry Bird.
