McCluer North traveled to Cardinal Ritter in what might've been the game of the week. The Ritter Lions jumped out to a lead and held strong throughout. Clutch shooting late and excellent coaching by Rashad Lindsey was the difference for McCluer North in the 4th quarter. The Stars were able to neutralize all runs and took this game to overtime. Fans got their money's worth all night and the game ended in a [player_tooltip player_id='1427981' first='Clayton' last='Jackson'] behind the back pass to [player_tooltip player_id='1273888' first='Nashawn' last='Davis'] for a layup as time expired. Students stormed the court and it was an instant classic of a game. Ritter won by a score of 49-47. McCluer North is a dangerous team who play a tough, team oriented brand of basketball and they should have their heads high after a great back and forth contest.
