Tristen Cline
Tristen Cline
Tristen Cline makes his report debut after a win over Richwood where he put up 25 points in the winning effort. Cline has been a mainstay for Montcalm last season as well. Cline will likely continue to be Montcalm’s most productive player.
Aaron Hall Aaron Hall 6’5″ | PF Greater Beckley Christian | 2024 State WV came through with 19 points to top Mount View this past week. Hall who is a force in single A at an athletic 6’5″, should be expected to post big numbers from time to time and make good this week while leading his team to victory. Hall statistically has had somewhat of a slow start to the season, but seems to be adjusting his game to increase his production and match his potential.
Eli Sancomb Eli Sancomb 6’4″ | SF Wheeling Central Catholic | 2026 State WV led the Wheeling Central squad over Notre Dame this week putting up 19 points in the effort. Sancomb who’s coming into his first actual year of competition due to injury last year is living up to high expectations and looking like the player everyone has anticipated. The sophomore guard with great size and length is son of Danny Sancomb who’s regarded as one of the better D2 coaches in the country.
Maki Cary Maki Cary 5’10” | PG Teays Valley Christian | 2025 State WV with his weekly appearance in the report puts up 17pts 6asts Vs Calvary Baptist. Cary has been nothing but consistent this season. The scoring point guard has put together one of the most productive seasons in WV.
Jase Smith Jase Smith 6’3″ | SF Bluefield | 2026 State WV once again against great competition put up great numbers with 19 pts 2 rebs 3 ast 4 steals vs Wyoming East last week. Smith continues to prove his value not only in the top of 2026 class but as one of the better overall players in WV.
MJ Patton MJ Patton 5’11” | PG Mercer Christian Academy | 2025 State WV makes his second appearance on the report and for good reason. Patton continues his tear through the 2024 season with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists vs Webster on Tuesday of last week in a losing cause, but followed that up with a 19 point, 10 rebound, 7 assist and 2 blocks vs Liberty in a winning effort on Thursday.
