Let us dive on in and take a look at some highlights of Thursday's night of hoops.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>East Chicago Central extends to a 8-game winning streak</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>All the way up at the top of northern Indiana, the East Chicago Central Cardinals are rolling in Class 4A. Last night, the Cardinals defeated a tough Gary West team 65-61 to extended to an 8-game winning streak. 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1297020' first='Dominique' last='Murphy Jr']. continues to have an impressive junior campaign as he lead the entire game in score with his 25 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2390095' first='Yamauree' last='Wallace'] added 17 pts, as well. Gary West was led in scoring from junior [player_tooltip player_id='2053673' first='Derek' last='Collins']. In close the win last night, East Chicago Central improves to 14-4 on the year while Gary West drops to 11-3 on the loss. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1578439' first='Mason' last='Harvey'] double-double leads to Seton Catholic 13th win</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2024 power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1578439' first='Mason' last='Harvey'] continues to have a dominating senior year. In Seton Catholic's crushing win over Muncie Burris 84-40, Harvey led the team with his 16-point, 13-rebound double-double while also adding 3 blocks, as well. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1578343' first='Andrew' last='Warner'] added 13 points and 5 rebounds, also.
