Ashton is a player that coaches love to have in the lead guard position. He is a gritty and relentless competitor who gets after opponents on both ends of the floor. He isn’t the biggest, but he does not mind getting into the heart of the defense and making plays. As I said, he is gritty, makes hustle plays, and sets the tone for how his squad approaches and plays each game. In the match-up against Central Hinds, he shot 33% from the field and led his team in shot attempts. He showed his aggressiveness as he looked for his offense, but he is going to have to understand that his production from the lead guard spot across the stat sheet has to be better than what his final stat line was in that game. 8pts (4-12 [0-4 3-Ptr])

Mike is a score-first PG who can absolutely flat-out put the ball in the basket. He got it going early and didn’t take his foot off the pedal. He scores it at all levels, plays through contact, is a dynamic iso scorer, and can get a bucket at any point of possession. He has really good shot-making ability from both inside and outside the arc, and his game is built upon his high skill set and quickness with the rock in his hands. He is a smooth and explosive lead guard who has the ability to carry his team to a deep playoff run. He finished with the following stat line against Madison Central: 24pts (10-20 [2-8 3-Ptr]), 8-rebs, 4-assist, 3-steals. He listed the following offer in his profile: Jackson State.
Mason Williams (6’0/PG/’26/Jackson Academy)

Mason is a reliable and trustworthy PG who does a good job balancing scoring and facilitating. He is part of the dynamic backcourt that is leading Jackson Academy, and he tends to settle more into the orchestrating and primary ball-handler role. He is strong with the rock in his hands, makes really good decisions, and gets his teammates involved. Mason can play either guard spot and shows significant potential on the defensive end. He was very solid and showed his all-around game against Madison Central. He finished with the following stat line: 11pts (5-10 [1-4 3-Ptr]), 5-rebs, 6-assist.
Turner Vance (6’0/PG/’24/Presbyterian Christian School)

I was highly impressed with the brilliance of Turner’s floor game. He is a mature lead guard who plays very poised, controls the pace, and is a high-end decision-maker in the open floor and in tight spaces. He is a prototypical point guard with quickness, agility, passing skills, court vision, and leadership. He showed his experience in the match-up against Provine as he constantly made the right reads for his squad. As he continues to elevate his game going down the stretch, PCS will have an excellent chance to make some noise in the playoffs. Make no mistake about it: Turner is in the driver’s seat for his squad. He finished with the following stat line: 15pts (5-7 [2-3 3-Ptr]), 6-rebs, 7-assist. He listed the following offer in his profile: Belhaven.
Javian Watkins (5’5/PG/’24/Provine HS)
IG: jay._800
Javian has limited height but tremendous quickness and plays very physical from the PG spot. He is the heart and soul of his team, and Provine goes as Javian goes. Javian is a two-way prospect who doesn’t allow his 5’5 height to deter him from making significant contributions on the floor. He is a ferocious playmaker who plays low to the ground, is a high-volume shot-taker, is tough to defend off the bounce, and can score at all three levels. He is an aggressive, pesky, disruptive defender who forces opponents to be very careful with the ball when he is near. He finished with the following stat line as he played the entire game: 18pts (7-12), 6-rebs, 3-assist, 4-steals.
