Name: Malik Neal
Graduation Year: 2024
Height: 6’1″
Position: Shooting Guard
High School: Bendle High School
Grassroots: Flint’s Finest
Strengths Of His Game:
– Ball handling: Neal is probably at his best when he puts the ball on floor and makes plays. He can put pressure on the defense and create scoring opportunities with his handles.
– Finishing at the rim: His handles can get him to the rim, but once there, you still have to capitalize. Neal will do just that. He can finish through contact and has good body control when finishing.
– Court vision: He sees the flor well, which allows him to anticipate action and be 1 step ahead. This helps him find teammates in scoring positions and get them the ball in a timely manner.
– Winner: Neal is a good old fashioned winner. He battles every second he’s on the floor and he’s willing to do whatever it takes for his team to win.
Bastketball Goals For This Season:
“My goals are to make1st team all-conference and win a district championship.” – Malik Neal
Long Term Basketball Goals:
“My long-term is to play college ball and potentially continue with basketball after college either as a coach or play overseas.” – Malik Neal
Notes:
Malik Neal is a very intriguing prospect. He’s having an excellent senior season so far. Neal is averaging 14 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game. He’s efficient offensively and can influence a game on both ends of the floor. Neal could also just be at the beginning of the rise of his game, giving him a lot of room to grow at and with a program at the next level. “Steal” is a term used often in the recruiting world, but it very well could fit with Malik Neal. I’d advise coaches to take a look at this talented player.
