[player_tooltip player_id='1160651' first='Jadis' last='Jones'] (New Madrid Central): The 6'5 2024 forward was again the dominant force as he led the Eagles to the championship. He just attacks the basket relentlessly, whether he's on the drive or on the offensive boards. He also has a very reliable short jumper in his arsenal. Jumpin' Jadis averaged 23 points in the tournament.

BJ Williamson (New Madrid Central): The dynamic 2024 guard averaged 20 points a game over the weekend to help the Eagles take the first place trophy back to the boot. He can be quiet offensively for a stretch, then all of the sudden hit you with an eight to 10 point spurt on his own. He also had a propensity to knock down volleyball line 3-pointers at the close of quarters.

[player_tooltip player_id='2092256' first='Josh' last='Peters'] (Nixa): The 6'4 2024 guard showcased an impressive shooting stroke in helping the Eagles to a second place finish. He comes of screens well and has a quick release on his shot. He can also set up at the high post and hit the jumper from the free throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2092251' first='Garrett' last='Hines'] (Nixa): A 6'5 2024 small forward who really owns the mid range area. He gets to his spots and he elevates on his jumper. He also dribbled coast to coast to hit the pull up 15 footer in transition. He can also shoot it from 3-point range.

Scott Metz (Logan-Rogersville): A 6'6 2024 forward who has a big body and he knows how to use it in the post. He seals very well inside and he has a nice shooting touch. He can also turn and face and hit the 15-17 foot jumper off the catch. He also passes it well from the high post.

********

2025

Kiernan Burnett (Marquette): A 6'4 2025 forward who had a strong tournament in helping the Mustangs to the consolation championship. He brings some toughness and physical play inside along with his ability to score in the paint. He had a high game of 24 points in the victory over Cape Notre Dame in the consolation finals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1424415' first='Andrew' last='Moore'] (Troy): The 6'2 2025 guard was the leading scorer in the tournament at 26 points a game. With a young team around him, he has picked up a big part of the scoring load. Despite all the added defensive attention coming his way, he can still score at three levels and put up some big numbers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2544941' first='Tanner' last='Hicks'] (Hillcrest): The 2025 guard got the tournament started with a bang when he scored 37 points in the first round against Troy. He stays on the attack in the pursuit for buckets. He can get into the lane and score on an assortment of layups, runners and short jumpers. I saw him at the Republic Tournament earlier this season and was impressed.
