While decisions for the class of 2024 come as no surprise, we did have one major announcement in the class of 2025 recently when Oswin Erhunmwunse Oswin Erhunmwunse 6'9" | C Putnam Science Academy | 2025 State #26 Nation New E announced his commitment to the Providence Friars. One of the nation’s premier shot-blockers, Erhunmwunse has a chance to make an immediate impact when he steps on campus in Friartown.
Here are four more prospects that have announced their commitments in the past few weeks:
Zamareon McCown Zamareon McCown 6'1" | CG Winchendon School | 2024 State New E

McCown, a crafty and dynamic playmaking guard, recently announced his commitment to Assumption University. A true lead guard, he shows a good amount of burst off the bounce and high level floor vision. As a scorer, he’s comfortable getting into his own shot off the dribble and has a deep arsenal of finishing moves in the paint. Defensively, he’s very good on the ball with quick hands and great lateral mobility which allows him to generate deflections and steals at a high rate. He should be able to carve out a nice role in the Northeast-10 once he steps on campus in Worcester.
Sepp will take his talents north next fall when he attends Keene State College. A big wing with a college ready frame, Sepp showcases real floor spacing potential at the next level as he’s a high level shooter from behind the arc. He’s done a good job this year of leveraging his shooting and turning bad closeouts into driving opportunities while also proving to be a willing ball mover. He should be able to guard multiple positions at the next level and does a good job turning defensive rebounds into runouts. The Owls landed a solid early commitment and I’d expect Sepp to have a chance to make an immediate impact in Keene next fall.
Connor O’Leary
Connor O’Leary
O’Leary, who has missed the entire high school season while rehabing an ACL injury, will be joining McCown in Worcester next fall as he too is headed to Assumption University. A scoring guard that has flashed some playmaking instincts, O’Leary really shines as someone who can shoot the ball from behind the arc. He’s comfortable with the ball in his hands and does a good job of playing at his own pace and getting to his spots. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of athleticism he has coming back from his injury, but his game is more about pace and feel, which should allow him to have an impact more quickly than someone who relies on being dynamic or playing above the rim.
Jefferson Smock
Jefferson Smock
Like McCown and O’Leary above, Smock’s college choice should be a familiar one as he will be joining Sepp and attending Keene State College next fall. Smock makes an impact on both ends of the floor by playing with a high motor and being a multiple effort guy. Offensively, he’s a threat on the offensive glass and does a good job finishing in the post off one dribble or dump downs. Defensively, he’s effective as a wall-up big but also has shown the ability to guard in space when needed. The Owls have done a good job of developing big men in the past and Smock could be the next in line when he arrives on campus in Keene.
