Powers has come on strong for Davie High heading into the bulk of Central Piedmont Conference action. He’s putting up a double-double through their 14-0 start to the year with 14.9 PPG, 10.5 RPG and 2.1 BPG as one of their focal points in the rotation this season. He’s a prospect for DII programs in the region to get eyes on given his skill set.
Highlights
Mitchell is slowly growing into one of the more improved prospects in the 2025 class in North Carolina with Clayton High. He leads the Comets with 19.0 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 1.8 APG and 1.2 BPG in his full return to the hardwood in 2023-24. He’s shown he can attack the rim as well as make things happen as a perimeter presence, shooting 58 percent from the field and 31 percent from 3-point land. He’s a name for DI and DII programs to put on their radar.
Highlights
Clayton is a name who continues to climb up the radar in the Western region of NC at AC Reynolds High. He’s averaging 10.4 PPG, 9.8 RPG and 2.1 APG and has racked up five double-doubles as the Rockets look to focus on Mountain Conference play. He’s a sizeable name to get to know at 6-foot-7 with a knack for holding his own in the painted area.
Overman is a junior forward at 6-foot-8 who’s shown his continued development in the painted area. He’s putting up 8.4 PPG and 6.5 RPG and is quite the shot-alterer in the paint. He currently leads all 2025 prospects in blocks per game (5.7) inthe state of North Carolina on MaxPreps. He’s a name for DII and DIII programs in the region to get eyes on.
Highlights
Beckwith a sizeable name in the Heritage High frontcourt at 6-foot-6 who’s shown he can operate in a variety of ways. He’s been quite the playmaker for them this season in producing 12.6 PPG, 8.7 RPG and 2.4 APG while shooting 39 percent from the field. As he shores up his efficiency in the field, he’s a prospect to keep an eye on as a stock-riser out of the 919 area.
