Mid-January Recruiting Notebook

Perhaps the biggest recruiting news is that State Champion Tyler Lee Tyler Lee 6'5" | SF Fulton | 2024 State TN (Fulton) decommitted from UAH.  In the intervening days since he decommitted, Tyler added fresh offers from Tusculum, Motlow State Community College, and Columbia State Community College. Before he verbally committed to UAH in the fall, Tyler held offers from Tusculum, Motlow State, Columbia State, Johnson University, Emory & Henry, Tennessee Wesleyan, and UAH.  The first three are back in with new offers.

Maddux Bodenhamer Maddux Bodenhamer 6'1" | PG Antioch | 2024 State TN (Antioch) added an offer from Columbia State Community College. Walters State offered him previously. Maddux played his AAU career with Team Mookie. Elite passer and floor leader. 

Columbia State offered AJ Morman AJ Morman 5'10" | PG Sacred Heart Of Jesus | 2024 State TN (Sacred Heart of Jesus) Wednesday night. AJ is a crafty, clever lefty scorer.  He plays with a tricky pace.  

Ty Glasper Ty Glasper 6'1" | PG Gatlinburg-Pittman | 2025 State TN (Gatlinburg-Pittman) took an unofficial visit to Chattanooga Saturday. He will likely be a Mr. Basketball Finalist as a junior and, I am sure, hopes to get his team into the State Tournament.  Glasper is an absolutely undeniable Top 10 player in the 2025 class.  Maybe a Top 5?  Remember rankings are reflections of long-term potential.  Glasper was a GP starter from his freshman year.

Trey Pearson Trey Pearson 6'2" | PG John Paul II | 2026 State TN , the new #1 in 2026, will take an unofficial visit to Chattanooga Mocs February 3rd.  Head coach Casey Alexander from Belmont “was in attendance to see me play tonight versus Father Ryan,” shared Trey.

Fred Bailey Fred Bailey 6'1" | PG JPII | 2024 State TN (Pope Prep) was watched/evaluated by his future coach, Trevecca Nazarene Head Coach Luke Carroll Luke Carroll 6'2" | PG Nolensville (lacrosse) | 2028 State TN this week.  Fred signed to Trevecca in November. 

Daunte White Daunte White 6'6" | PF LaVergne | 2024 State TN (LaVergne) added an offer from Columbia State Community College. White is a springy rebounder with decent college-level athleticism. Shooting range is just ok. Active.  White already holds offers from Snead State CC and Cumberland (TN). 

Da’Ron Hall Da’Ron Hall 6'8" | PF Winston-Salem Christian Post Grad | 2025 State NC (Cane Ridge) added a new offer.  Florida Memorial offered the silky, lefty 4-man. Cumberland (TN) and Motlow State offered prior. Columbia State Community College also just offered him a scholarship.
