This week I watched four games. Three on varsity and one on JV. I watched, via live stream (under the weather), Coolidge at Gilbert Christian and Rancho Solano Prep at Arizona Lutheran Academy. And I attended the JV and varsity games of ALA Gilbert North at AZ College Prep live.

Here were the senior standouts from the week

[player_tooltip player_id='1494969' first='Owen' last='Bell'] ALA Gilbert North

The versatile wing forward had a big night. When left open he will rattle in threes off the catch. He is incredible in transition, as he had multiple dunks and plays the passing lanes that often lead to steals. He is a quick second jumper to rebound and blocks everything near him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2039516' first='Lopemi' last='Omole'] Gilbert Christian

An athletic power forward is a star on the glass. He often scores off of put backs corralling boards out of his area. He blocks shots and scores on mid-range jumpers and alley oops. He flirted with a double double.

[player_tooltip player_id='1390361' first='Keon' last='Talgo'] Gilbert Christian (Pictured)

Another with a huge night versus Coolidge. He had 20+ points as he scored from mid-range to the three point line. He squares up perfectly and lets it fly. When he is on from the perimeter, he makes it easier for his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='1986831' first='Alex' last='Neill'] AZ College Prep

A strong showing for the burly framed power forward. He was a glass cleaner all night and scored multiple ways. He scores on runners, layups and will face up and hit the three point shot. He will get on the floor for the 50/50 balls with a huge motor. Stock up!

[player_tooltip player_id='2324738' first='Isaiah' last='Slaughter'] Coolidge

A long athletic wing forward will rebound and block shots out of area. He will score thru contact despite being leaner and covers a lot of ground on defense. He is relentless on the glass with a quick second jump. He scored 16 points with almost 10 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494970' first='Noah' last='Scheurn'] ALA Gilbert North

An off guard has become way stronger since my last viewing of him. He smartly moves the ball, he will rebound and defend his position as a nice glue piece to the puzzle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1194767' first='Jake' last='Miller'] Rancho Solano Prep

The highly skilled scoring lead guard put up 24 big points with three triples. He can score on fall aways from mid-range and make off balanced shots in the lane. He handles contact well despite his leaner frame. He can also find teammates in stride.

[player_tooltip player_id='1490884' first='Noah' last='Draper'] Arizona Lutheran Academy

A highly skilled power forward scores it a with patience and footwork. He scored thru contact and will corral the board and go up quickly. He looked like he grew an inch or two and got stronger. He blocks shots in his area and he has an easy stroke from the line. He scored 24 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1490883' first='Luis' last='Guerrero'] Arizona Lutheran Academy

A diminutive scoring point guard is quick on quick. He is fast on the break and shows toughness. He can hit the catch three, score in traffic, hit from mid and moves without the ball to cut for layups. He made few needle threaders to his teammates. He scored 19 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1216991' first='Sagith' last='Vargas'] Rancho Solano Prep

The pure point guard of the Mustangs sets the table and looks to make plays. He will score on fall aways off the dribble and can get to the basket plus hit the catch three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2326926' first='Aidan' last='Mushahwar'] Rancho Solano Prep

A newcomer for me impressed. The wing forward scored 16 points with skill and a physical approach. He gets downhill with dribble drives thru contact. He uses a motor to rebound out of his area and is a perfect compliment to their guards.
