Viborg-Hurley 66 Corsica-Stickey 44
Howard 42 Gregory 34
Hanson was dominant in this one with 28 points and 10 rebounds. He was moving without the ball to find openings in the defense and he was scoring fairly easily in an efficient manner.
Highlights
Brady is an athletic on-ball defender. That stood out to me as well as his scoring on limited shot attempts. A beast of a rebounder for a point guard, and I thought I heard he was averaging 8 per game. Scored right around his average in the game, scoring 10 points.
I thought Kolthoff looked quicker and more bouncy that what I had last seen of him on film. He could have been some sort of X-factor in this game, because he was getting it done on both ends. Anticipation and athleticism display. 10 points and filled the stat sheet in all the other categories.
Koepsell is extremely long at 6’8. He matched-up with fellow 6’8 Daniel Mitchell Daniel Mitchell 6’7″ | SF Gregory | 2024 State SD and nearly matched his length. Runs better and is a better in-the-paint player than I had thought. Produced a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Mitchell has to have top 5 length in the state. I can’t think of more than a couple names that compete. It wasn’t one of his scoring games with two points, but he pulled down 10 rebounds and affected the paint and beyond with his arms and jumping ability. Blocked and altered shots.
Noah Bearshield
Noah Bearshield
Bearshield showed to be a knockdown jump-shooter, scoring 20 points in the game. Threes and two-point jumpers off the dribble.
I’m a fan of Cruz Klundt Cruz Klundt 6’0″ | PG Gregory | 2025 State SD ‘s game. Extremely active defender that is highly attentive as well. You don’t see that combination often. He loves helping out his teammates in their individual matchup, as he comes off his matchup to help off the drive at times. He also has some offensive skill and pop, with the ability to bring the ball up. Active offensively and is a threat to score.
