Dawson was AWESOME in their win against Chaminade. The 6'5” small forward put on an absolute show with his shot making from all over the floor. It was fluid jumpers one after another whether it was creating his own shot or off the catch. Every time he let it go it was nothing but net. Silky smooth pull up game where he got to his spot and rose over defenders with ease. From three he was 5-7 looking automatic. Mixed in some moves off the bounce including a behind the back drive where he finished with his off hand. He had 27 points (11-19 FG) looking every bit the part of a mid-major plus prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1130310' first='Malachi' last='Moreno'] (Great Crossing – 2025)

Moreno was the headliner coming into this game for Great Crossing at Highland. He has great size at 7'1” with a good frame. Opened the game with a sweet counter move for a right handed hook shot. Was quiet for a while though in this game letting Dawson do his thing. Got on the glass for an and-1 along with another put back. Definitely impacted as a rebounder against Chaminade. He finished with 9 points (3-7 FG) and 12 rebounds. Would have liked to see him be more assertive on the offensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='939114' first='Junius' last='Burrell'] (Great Crossing – 2025)

Burrell is a smaller point guard that brings athleticism and a soft touch finishing game to the table. He hit several of those, a pull up, along with a three for 11 points (5-11 FG) while helping find Dawson for several of his points racking up 6 dimes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1320254' first='Jeremiah' last='Godfrey'] (Great Crossing – 2024)

Godfrey is a long and rangy forward that plays with energy. Scores around the hoop, quick to the glass, had a big dunk, and is a rangy defender. Final line read 8 points (4-10 FG) and 6 rebounds.
