This game was back and forth the entire way. Eldorado was able to control the pace on the offensive end, and produced just enough to squeeze out the win in the end. [player_tooltip player_id='1276348' first='Josh' last='Jackson'] was a force in the paint, getting offensive rebounds on one end, and affecting every shot that came his way on the other. [player_tooltip player_id='1231723' first='Pete' last='Fuentez'] was a great source of energy and consistency for the Eagles. He finished with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and a pair of assists. [player_tooltip player_id='2284316' first='Johnny' last='Salas'] has been great as the leader of this team, and led them with 5 assists while also chipping in 6 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1687821' first='Jesus' last='Licon'] continues his incredible hot-streak as he put up a whopping 45 points. He's a flamethrower of the highest level and didn't seem to miss as the game went on. [player_tooltip player_id='1295236' first='Raul' last='Stanford'] chipped in his fair share in the other statistical categories, putting up 5 assists and 2 steals. [player_tooltip player_id='2143685' first='Sebastian' last='Hernandez'] was strong as one of the primary defenders, and contributed 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the Hornets' efforts.

One of the most exciting games I've had the pleasure to watch this season, it was a battle of pure grit. Physical on both ends, La Cueva simply punished the Mustangs on the inside in the final minutes. [player_tooltip player_id='1176299' first='Daniel' last='Lovato'] was nothing short of dominant, especially in the first half, grabbing five of his 9 boards in the first quarter. [player_tooltip player_id='1176302' first='Cameron' last='Dyer'] contributed in every way important, scoring 10 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and putting up 5 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679995' first='Jeremiah' last='Holtz'] might have the best, most consistent mid-range jumper in all of New Mexico. His ability to get to his spots and elevate on his release give him the opportunities to score, and he finished with 18 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1687829' first='Estevan' last='Espinoza'] has shown his one of the best hustle players on the defensive end, as he led the team in steals and created many opportunities for himself and others on the fast break. [player_tooltip player_id='1124238' first='Elijah' last='Brody'] was a force on the offensive end once again, putting up 17 points and 5 rebounds.
