Harper has been a productive scoring threat for Process Academy and is starting to get some legitimate college love. The 6-3 guard has lit up the scoreboard this season as he’s recorded around 5 30+ point games while showing off his smooth jumper and sneaky athleticism. I’m not sure how this kid has fallen under the radar after evaluating his film and impact on the hardwood. A must-see kid for college coaches looking for unexposed Ball Players.
2023 stats: 15.7 PPG – 8.6 rebounds – 2.9 stealsA 6-6 forward prospect that can jump out of the gym with crazy bounce and protect the rim with it as well is someone college coaches should be in contact with. He’s getting it done in all phases for Astronaut (9-6) this season as he’s leading the team in various categories. The rising junior is really good upside because of his frame and advanced mechanics/understanding of the game. It runs in the Carter genes, and I expect this kid to keep getting better on both sides of the ball.
At 6-4, 200-pound, Louis has developed into a physical guard prospect who has continued to work on his jumper which is now elite from mid or three range. Man, I like this kid’s game as his pull up jump shot is deceptive but smooth as he now gets to his spots, sets up, and goes to work with his back to the basket from 15 feet. Keep your eye on Louis who can catch the eye of smaller DII-DIII schools as the season progresses.
2023 stats: 9.8 PPG – 6.0 rebounds – 1.0 blocks Medina made the move over to Gibbs to play out his junior season. He’s on the radar for a breakout season as he stands at 7’0 tall with a decent frame and athleticism to go with it. The rising forward/center prospect is the definition of underrated but will have his chance to put his name on the map this fall. He’s also picked up a recent offer from Georgia Southern but watch the buzz generate around his recruitment as the season progresses.
2023 stats: 19.0 PPG – 13.6 rebounds – 3.3 blocks Loughridge is one of the longer framed prospects on the list standing around 6-foot-7 with a lengthy wingspan. Loughridge has exerted his height this season and has been effective on the boards while deterring layup attempts. He’s flashed decent athleticism to finish dunks near the basket as well. When breaking down his game, he’s a fluid forward product with decent athleticism to help attack rebounds and protect the rim.
2023 stats: 18.9 PPG – 16.0 rebounds – 1.3 blocksForbes is a good-framed junior prospect at 6-7, 190 pounds who brought summer momentum into the season where he’s dominating from the field (54% FG) and attacking the boards, leading his team in both categories. Forbes is becoming more comfortable on the floor and understanding what he needs to do to maximize his impact. That’s providing consistent scoring output while being a beast at the rim.
