With the holiday tournament season behind us, we turn our eye towards the players that could have an impact during conference season. While their are several players entrusted with carrying their squads, let’s not forget the contributions of the supporting cast. Here’s a look at some non starters that have provided huge lifts to their squads.
The high flyer provides his Liberty squad with energy on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Few teams have a player this talented that they can bring off their bench.
The consummate glue guy, Williams provides a spark for our #1 ranked squad with his tenacity, and defense.
What he does, doesn’t always show up in the box score, however the athletic wing is the perfect fit for the Rattler’s pressure style. Despite coming off the bench, he averages over 1 steal per game.
The senior PG is the heart and soul of the Skyhawks. Very few teams have a player as talented and as experienced as Simpson that they can bring off the bench.
The lefty has been productive with his time on the floor for the Aggies. Thatcher has a good IQ and is one of the best shooters in his class, providing a floor spacing lift for the #2 ranked 5A team in the state.
Foothill may be the deepest team in the state. Bringing a player like the senior guard off the bench highlights that fact. He’s averaging nearly 4 assist per game.

The sophomore sniper gives the Wildcats an outside shooting threat coming off the bench.

Losee can run a ton of guys at you. Daniel is just one of the youngest. The sophomore produces nearly 6 points per game as a sub.
Koroma provides toughness and energy and could be the best sub for the state’s top 4A squad.
Brings an edge off the bench for a Manogue squad with 4A North Championship aspirations.
