Lukas Kokonis (5’0/G|F/’31)
Lukas is a solid young player whose game is developing. You can see that he has put in time in the lab, and if he continues to stay in the process, he can emerge into a pretty good backcourt player. He showed his vision and passing skills, and is fundamental in both areas. Lukas is young but understands how to make plays for others as well as for himself. He is on a nice trajectory and needs to continue to improve his game all-around, as is the case with all players his age.
Jordan Hudson (5’0/CG/’30/Southeastern Preparatory Academy)
IG: Jordanhhud
Jordan is a highly skilled 6th grader who was very tough off the bounce. He has crafty handles, is a skilled passer, has a quick first step, and gets downhill in a hurry. He was one of the top players in his division and is a developing young guard who is very talented. He has wiggle in his game, breaks down defenders off the bounce, and gets into the heart of the defense, where he scores or finds teammates. He showed a lot of promise but has to continue to put the work in to develop his all-around game.
Bivindy Jean (5’10/PG/’28/William Dandy MS)
IG: antisocial_bj
BJ is a downhill attacking guard with good size at the lead guard spot. He is tough in isolation and is tough to contain off the bounce, as he prefers to make one move and attack. He doesn’t play around with the rock as he gets downhill and does a good job at finishing and finding teammates. He has a developing floor game, which is going to translate to the high school level. He brings a lot to the game and was very productive throughout camp.
Kyle Lexer (5’7/F/’29/Lincoln Park Academy)
IG: kylesoo_cxertified
Kyle has size and is a developing interior presence. His game requires attention, but there is a foundation from which his game can continue to grow. He showed his ability to post, set screens, go to the glass, and run the floor. As he continues to develop, I believe he will assert himself more, and his confidence will grow in his game. There is a lot to like about Kyle’s physical make-up and the caliber of player that he could develop into.
Santino Dean (5’7/SG/’28/Somerset Prep)
IG: Gb_ti7no
Santino is a backcourt player with a good fundamental base to build his game on. He shot the ball well from behind the arc throughout camp. He is getting ready to take his game to the high school level, and he has to focus on some key areas over the next few months to be an incoming source of production. He has the potential, and if he stays in the lab, we could possibly see the potential turn into production.
Jayden Hardy (5’10/PG/’29/Indian Ridge MS)
IG: jayjehuda
Jayden is a PG with good positional size. He is very heady for his age, and his decision-making skills were seen throughout camp. He is unselfish and is easily considered a pass-first PG. He was constantly breaking down defenders, getting into the paint, and either dropping dimes off to the post players or spraying the rock to shooters around the arc. He played under control and changed speeds well, two things that separated him from others in his division.
