Isaiah Asuma Isaiah Asuma 5'11" | SG Cherry | 2027 State MN of Cherry (5’11 fr). I liked the game Isaiah gave today all around. Gritty rebounding effort for his six boards, moved the ball well as the whole team did, and made four shots. Asuma looks primed to be a main ball handler and shooting option for Cherry for years to come.
Noah Asuma Noah Asuma 6'1" | SG Cherry | 2026 State MN of Cherry (6’3 soph). Noah’s three point stroke was on as he hit four threes on his way to a 9 of 15 shooting game for 22 points. The shot looks very clean and as a strong framed guard (very similar to the frame of brother Isaac) Noah already has the physical build that a college basketball program would be looking for (or college baseball for him of course too).
Vincent Cronin Vincent Cronin 6'6" | PF Edina | 2027 State MN of Edina (6’6 fr). Cronin had three boards and scored once in five attempts. It wasn’t a great performance stats wise but his defense and agility was eye popping. This is an agile frosh with bounce, with long arms and big hands with a bright future. And today we learned that he is a willing position defender that battled to his spots aggressively. Looks to be well taught on defense which goes a long way because coaches love this in addition to the rest of his potential.
Malchi Hill of Totino-Grace (5’11 fr). This will long be a game I look back on when I think about Hill being a top point guard and likely a top lead guard prospect. His demeanor, decision making, control and toughness are all things that seem matured beyond his years. Defense was tough, next to no mistakes with the ball, and scored his 17 points with four threes and only one miss. Hill has a chance to be special because he does not seem to waste possessions.
Dothan Ijadimbola Dothan Ijadimbola 6'6" | SF Totino Grace | 2026 State MN of Totino-Grace (6’6 soph). We’ve talked about this in detail but Dothan has an upside because of what he brings that is unique: skill, agility, strength and body control in an agile 6’6 frame. Dothan scored on 8 of 11 attempts for his 18 points and the assortment of scores will look great on his resume. The pull-ups, open floor finishes, and the footwork from mid-range to get clear to complete, all of it was outstanding.
JP Musoke JP Musoke 6'6" | SF Breck | 2026 State MN of Breck (6’5 soph). Musoke is a player to keep an eye on. He is so long leg and arms wise that you can’t help thinking about what happens if he grows a couple more inches. He’s already an agile sophomore that uses his length well and if he is able to grow and get more skilled….JP has a chance to be a great prospect. Does a lot of work around the basket but also hit three threes to get to 18 points. Keep an eye on his development, there could be something special here/there.
