Vianney has young talent while Collinsville has senior-led talent. That age difference was a key factor in this one. The Kahoks’ experience allowed them to extend a second half lead and win 71-56.
Nick Horras shows he’s one of the best unsigned players in the area.
The senior guard was excellent in this one. He’s a three level scorer and better athlete than you’d expect. He gets to his mid-range with great efficiency and made multiple threes on the night. Calm and composed would be two words to describe how he looks on the floor. Horras is a gamer who embraces the big moment. His functional ability has been shown each time he steps on the floor this season. He scored 24 points in this game and took home MVP honors. Colleges looking for a shooting guard who plays the right way and can make shots with high efficiency should look his way.

that continues to trend upward. The 7’3 sophomore is putting it all together and has become more aggressive on the offensive end of the floor. He had multiple dunks, some with contact before the flush. His shot blocking and ability to affect shots at the rim was constant. Ghai even showcased open floor ball-handling which drew cheers from the crowd. A polarizing talent who makes all the difference. As he continues to add to his frame the sophomore will become a national prospect.
Zach Chambers and Jamorie Wysinger create an inside-outside duo.
Two more Kahoks’ that had big games were these two. Chambers is a 6’8 lefty who plays with physicality and has a good arsenal of post moves. He used the drop-step, focus, and strength to complete finishes at the basket. Wysinger was hot from three. It felt like he made all the big threes on this night. Collinsville is an extremely balanced team with scoring contributions from many players. These are two more recruitable prospects for the next level. Collinsville looks dangerous and will contend for state.
