The Garden State basketball season is plugging along as January is almost half over. South Jersey has talent in the frontcourt and should put it on display over the next couple of weeks, especially in the 2025 class. Here are the 2025 South Jersey forwards to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1123937' first='Isaac' last='Moore'], 6'7 PF Life Center Academy

Moore has had a solid 2023-24 season as he's impacted the game in a variety of ways. The 6'7 forward has a good faceup game as he can put the ball on the floor and knock down jumpers from behind the arc. Moore has a nice touch around the basket and does not mind drawing contact in the paint. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and gets deflections on the defensive end. Moore is a physical forward prospect whose ability to score inside and out is something that will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1773153' first='Reale' last='Basquine'], 6'6 SF Middle Township

Basquine is an intriguing prospect to watch in the class as he can play either forward position. The 6'6 forward explodes off the floor for dunks and is able to draw contact down low. Basquine has an underrated handle and moves well without the ball in his hands. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Basquine is an athletic, forward prospect who can impact the game at both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1456843' first='Destine' last='Evans'], 6'6 SF Pennington

Evans has shown the ability to play both on the wing and on the interior, which has helped his development in a big way. The 6'6 forward has a nice release on his jumper as he wastes little motion and sets his feet before he shoots. Evans can also put the ball on the floor and finishes strong around the basket. He is a force on the glass at both ends of the floor and uses his timing to block shots around the rim. Evans is a lanky, forward prospect who should continue to fill up the stat sheet over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1943555' first='Quinn' last='Gibson'], 6'4 SF Cherry Hill West

Gibson is in the middle of a breakout season as he's helped lead the Lions to a 10-1 record so far this season. The 6'4 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes nicely around the basket and can make shots through contact. Gibson moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He is an underrated rebounder and slides his feet on the defensive end. Gibson has seven 20-point games this season and that number should only increase as the season moves along.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107865' first='Adiel' last='Fred'], 6'7 PF Paul VI

Fred has stepped up over the last couple of games for the Eagles as he has eclipsed double figures in three straight games. The 6'7 forward has a nice touch around the basket and is able to draw contact in the paint. Fred has an underrated handle and sets good screens in the halfcourt. He works on the glass for rebounds and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. Fred has the potential to have a big February with his ability to score in the paint and control the boards.
