No. 5 [player_tooltip player_id='1630619' first='Jovani' last='Ruff'] | Long Beach Poly

Ruff has put together some very impressive performances through the first half of the season for Poly. The 6-foot-5 wing shooting guard is one of the best perimeter scorers in SoCal as evidenced by his smooth pull-up jump shot and ability to stretch the floor with catch and shoot threes. Ruff jumped from No. 9 to No. 5 because of his improved ball skills that have translated to him getting to the rim more efficiently and creating for teammates.

No. 7 [player_tooltip player_id='1630622' first='Kade' last='Bonam'] | St. John Bosco

Bonam made a small jump from No. 8 to No. 7 and that was based mainly on the fact that he has improved his frame and conditioning. The 6-foot-6 forward has slimmed down and it's made him more mobile and fluid inside and outside. Bonam is looks much lighter on his feet when attacking out of face-up situations and his interior moves are much quicker than they were a year ago.

No. 9 [player_tooltip player_id='1630628' first='Dillan' last='Shaw'] | Heritage Christian

Shaw moved into the top 10 after sitting just outside of it at No. 11. The 6-foot-7 wing has molded into a point-forward type of role at Heritage Christian where he can play on or off the ball. On the ball, Shaw is a capable initiator of offense who also creates mismatches because of his ability to break defenders down in isolation and get to the rim or knock down perimeter jumpers.

No. 11 [player_tooltip player_id='1630631' first='Douglas' last='Langford'] | St. Pius X-St. Matthias

Langford is among the best rebounders in the state regardless of class and that is one of the reasons why he moved up five spots to No. 11. The 6-foot-8 forward/center has been a walking double-double this season whose interior presence is felt on both ends of the floor. Langford has soft touch around the basket and has improved as a rim protector both as a shot blocker and as a guy who can deter drivers based simply on his presence.

No. 12 [player_tooltip player_id='1630629' first='Isaac' last='Williamson'] | Eastvale Roosevelt

When discussing Williamson most will bring up the fact that he's one of the best three-point shooters in the state, and while that statement is factual, the 6-foot-1 guard has showed that he is a lock down defender, as well. Williamson moved up six spots because of the fact that he has accepted and excelled in taking on some of the tougher defensive assignments we've seen this season.

No. 13 [player_tooltip player_id='1630643' first='Angelino' last='Mark'] | Sherman Oaks Notre Dame

Mark jumped up six spots in this update not only because of his elite athleticism, high motor and transition finishing abilities but because he is beginning to show that he can take over a game if needed. While most of the time Mark is playing robin to [player_tooltip player_id='1502768' first='Mercy' last='Miller']'s batman, the 6-foot-2 junior has the explosive two-way ability that will make him a coveted prospect in this class.

No. 20 [player_tooltip player_id='1630626' first='Bryce' last='Cofield'] | Sierra Canyon

Cofield is one of the most physically imposing and athletic wings we have in the state but it's his improved perimeter game that earned him a small bump into the top 20. The 6-foot-4 junior is hitting perimeter jumpers with more consistency while still maintaining his ability to get to the rim at-will and finish through and above contact.
