When you are watching PG play it kind of all blends togetehr with so many subs and so many player talking three-pointers but through all of that you had this kid standout through the fog of the team and just light it up on the floor. palmer was scoring off the bounce, off the pick n’ roll and catch and shoot was on and he was relocating. He was coming off of screens and movement. Palmer was feeling it. Could have been a special night for him if he would have played more stretches through the game. Really moved the needle last night. He will be among the Top 50 for sure in the revamp of the rankings. Palmer makes PG dangerous because he could go off for 5 + three-pointers a game for sure.
Tanner is a sleeper SF that has some solid back to the basket moves. He was able to get inside and go to his moves quickly that has been an improvement that we saw from this year to last year. He was the biggest kid on the floor and he was able to get shots when he wanted but he stopped getting the ball. This is a go to kid in the post and running your offense through him at the high school level could be beneficial. He was a player that stood out for sure.
Highlights
Spencer has next level ability and you can see it oozing out on the floor. He is a very active player that has to play the 4 and the 5 for his team and he does it quite well. He was all over the place rebounding and blocking shots, but in reality the kid should be playing the 2 or the 3. He is a player that should be getting more touches and plays as he can be a force in the mid-post or on the move. He was a standout yesterday.
Highlights
Really impressed with Bierman as he showed a lot of poise on both ends of the floor. He was patient on offense and he was hitting some timely shots. He hit a really big three at the top of the key that really gave them seperation at the end of the game. He is a player to watch moving forward as they will need a strong on the ball guard that can make shots.
Shaw is a PF that could easily back his way into easy buckets all game long. He gets great position and when he can beat the rotation help he is tough to stop. Showed some great form on some long shots and even hit a few. Shaw’s game is evolving, love to see it.
He was locked in from the jump and he did not let up as Layton has been able to get contributions from a lof of player but Martin has been the player with the ball in his hands a lot and he was great yesterday. Even though he could probably bulldoze his way on the lane anytime he wants he was showing that he can go off from deep as well. He hit 6 three-pointers and showed that he is one of the better unsigned PG’s in the state.
Sleeper 2024 CG that can play on and off the ball. Really like that floater game and that ability he showed to get into the lanes. He was solid from deep and this Mountain View team is learning on the fly. Fairbanks is really elevating his game and he is learning how to really impact the game all over the floor.
Drisdom is a player that can change his game in many ways. He is not a one dimensional PG. He can morph his game to what a team needs. He can get downhill and do it himself. He can get downhill and reward players running with him, he has been solid this week but he really was elite last night. He is on the rise for sure.
It was just like yesterday that Nash was a freshman leading everyone in his class in scoring. He is now stronger and faster. The High IQ ball he continues to play with is impressive. He knows how to get into the lane with force, with speed and fitness. He had himself a day yesterday scoring 29.
Poole was at it again. He is a must watch and he is starting to his his stride. he makes this team that much more dangerous as they gave everything Olympus could handle.

Death, taxes and Dutch Dowdell Dutch Dowdell 6’6″ | SG Olympus | 2024 State #310 Nation UT hitting clutch buckets. Dowdell played well and his shooting is just impressive, the crazy thing is that we haven’t seen the best of DowDell yet.
