Continue ReadingWilkerson has been playing at a high level. In his last 4 games he has been putting up solid numbers, but last night he really went off. The ball was moving well all night and it seemed to find Damani many times in quality opportunities to score. He was showing some range on his shot but the way he has been putting the ball on the floor has been impressive and was all night ling against Stansbury.
Swarnes racked up a triple-double a few weeks ago and he is at it again as he was hauling in rebounds, dishing out assist and just doing a little bit of everything as he went off for 25. He does it in so many ways and getting to his spots on attack moves is something he can go to and he does it with some ease at times.
Highlights
Tuned to watch this kid put on a great performance. Saucedo has really been playing with a rhythm and he has been one of the most consistent players on this team. Saucedo has some shifty skills on the ball and he is moving well off the ball. Showed that he does have a game that can translate to the next level. Although they did not win the game he played with a high motor and he displayed some noticeable positive body language.
Dart has been playing are really solid role off the bench. At times he came into the game as the 7th or 8th man off the bench and he plays high level and high IQ ball and that is a reason he sees the floor as a freshman. Although he did not score any points in the game he was playing in last night he had a lot of hustle plays and he was a ball mover and not a ball stopper a quality that keeps him on the floor.
Three-sport athlete has found his role on the hardwood. He is a pitcher and a football player that is finding his way on the basketball court. He played well against Park City last night. He has been a solid contributor and he is rebounding a bit and finding the right open person on the floor. Great glue guy to have on the team.
An unheralded player on this Juan Diego team as Young as been quietly having a solid junior year. His transfer to JDCHS has been a well welcomed addition because he is a guard with some length that has been a solid two way player. Last night he provided a threat at all times when he touched the ball. Young made an impact in a loss and he has been a stat stuffer all year long.
