With the high school season in full swing, it's time to take a look at some of the top available and underrated seniors in the state. Here's a look at part one of some of the best unsigned players in the Northern VA area.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259543' first='Tavarres' last='Riley'] | 6'1” PG | Westfield

Riley has been one of the top scorers in the entire state over the last few years, and the way he scores the ball will translate seamlessly to the next level. He's a true three level scorer who gets to his spots off the bounce and doesn't need much room to get his shot off, he gets to the line often when attacking the rim and he gets hot quickly and can fill it up in bunches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580611' first='Kye' last='Robinson'] | 6'1” PG | Alexandria City

Robinson is part of perhaps the best backcourt in the NOVA public schools, and he's been a big part of the turn around at AC as he has been perhaps the best floor general in the area since his sophomore season. Robinson can put up big numbers as a scorer as he shoots it well from deep and is a strong finisher around the rim, and he couples that with winning intangibles as a playmaker and a defender too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489085' first='Isaiah' last='Vick'] | 6'7” PF | Patriot

Vick has been super intriguing since the first time we saw him his sophomore season, and he's continually improved over the years and is starting to turn that intrigue into production this season. At 6'7” he's very versatile as he can play and guard multiple positions for his team, he's an athletic finisher and rim protector in the paint and he can step out and knock down shots or put it on the deck on the perimeter too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259546' first='Jamari' last='Hodnett'] | 6'2” PG | Bishop Ireton

Hodnett is the type of player that coaches love to have on their team and hate to play against, as he is the type of player who doesn't need to score the ball to be super effective and impact the game in winning ways. He's a lock down defender who guards the ball the length of the court and has great instincts jumping passing lanes, he makes great decisions and makes the easy and correct play regularly and he can pick his spots and is efficient when he needs to score.

[player_tooltip player_id='1261987' first='Quin' last='Gorman'] | 6'8” PF | Flint Hill

Gorman dealt with some injuries early in his career but he's back healthy and putting up big numbers for a very good Flint Hill team so far this season. The 6'8” forward is a versatile offensive threat as he is a knock down shooter from deep off the catch, he can handle the ball in transition to make plays for himself and others and he is a good finisher with both hands around the rim too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1759750' first='Jayden' last='Johnson'] | 6'1” PG | Tuscarora

Johnson is another guard that can impact the game in a lot of different ways, and he's quietly been one of the top guards in NOVA public schools over the past few years. He's a strong and athletic guard who can get to the paint and get downhill where he's a good finisher, he makes tough shots from all over the court and he is a lock down defender who brings toughness and plays with a high motor too.
