Port Washington is struggling this year, but the team is young and will have its growing pains. Out of their top seven players, four are sophomores, including standout sharpshooter Cal Loose Cal Loose 6’0″ | SG Port Washington | 2026 WI . The 2026 guard is averaging 14.4 points and 4.1 rebounds, while shooting 44.4% from three (20-45). He’s putting up 6.4 three-point attempts per game, nearly triple his 2022-23 volume. Loose is another smooth shooter lefty that poses as a catch-and-shoot spot up threat.
I’m sure there will be plenty of “he’s a freshman” chants when Jayce Cook Jayce Cook 5’11” | CG New Berlin West | 2027 WI is on the floor for New Berlin West this season. At the end of his high school basketball career, Cook will likely go down as one of the better shooters in school history and have a few records. He’s averaging 17.6 points per game and has already notched a 36 point game vs West Allis Central. Cook is shooting 23-52 (44.2%) from downtown and already has a game with six three-pointers made and another with seven.
Casey Lyon Casey Lyon 6’0″ | SG Whitewater Highschool | 2026 WI is one of three underclassmen included in this list and boy has he earned it. Lyon has more than doubled his scoring to 22.4 points per game and increased his three-point percentage by nearly 8%. Lyon has connected on 23-56 (41.1%) three-pointers. Whitewater is another team that is young and inexperienced, but Lyon has been a bright spot all season long. Last week Friday, Lyon exploded for a school record 47 points on 7-13 from three. He leads the conference in scoring and is 3rd in 3P% (min 10 attempts).
Highlights
Adam Loberger Adam Loberger 6’4″ | SG Fox Valley Lutheran | 2024 State WI and Fox Valley Lutheran are by no means a new name to folks. Loberger was the conference player of the year and Fox Valley was the conference champion last season. Loberger is included in this list because he does not get the attention he deserves. The senior three-point marksman is leading the conference in scoring (26.7 points) and is 2nd in 3PM (22). Loberger is shooting 22-56 (39.3%) from distance. Loberger is fundamentally sound and can score inside and outside. He’s someone who should garner collegiate DIII and Juco/NAIA attention.
Nathan Harrison
Nathan Harrison
Nathan Harrison is a new name to know. He was a contributor on varsity last year, but has since taken over as the team’s top option as a senior. Harrison is averaging 14.6 points per game on 24-57 (42.1%) from three-point distance.
