Pettit was impressive as he shot the ball at volume for the Vikings to lead the charge for them. He went for 25 points including four 3-pointers to boost the backcourt with his confidence shooting the basketball. He didn’t get discouraged when his shot wasn’t falling in the early stages. When he wasn’t shooting he was rebounding and defending, making an impact in other ways. He finished with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals as well. DII and DIII programs would be wise to get eyes on him.
Roberts really took over the game down the stretch and really took over as lead distributor in the second half to boost the Vikings. He finished with eight points, seven rebounds and 10 assists, nearly notching a triple-double to show off his ability to make things happen with the ball in his hands. He was another one who’s shot wasn’t falling but he found a way to impact the game with his playmaking ability and further frustrated his opponent in that way. He’s another prospect for DII and DIII programs in the region to get eyes on given his skillset.
