Skilled. Good speed. Decent touch. Lovelace landed in the rankings after a strong @PrepHoopsTN JV Camp in February 2023. He was ranked 3rd for the event and landed on the All-Star Team. His sprint times were 3.4 seconds and 3.2 seconds. De'avion does not play varsity much this year for Cleveland. His ability to survive and thrive at the varsity level remains to be seen.

#72 [player_tooltip player_id='2077813' first='Eric' last='Bryson Jr.'] (Whites Creek)

Blistering speed. Clever with the basketball. Great on-ball defender. Height dings him a little for overall potential. His speed can change a game.

#73 [player_tooltip player_id='1959892' first='Bryant' last='Hall'] (Nolensville)

Hall clearly spent time training and improving his body in the weight room. Few sophomores look as "varsity-ready" with their basketball frame. Nolensville is playing fantastically this year and Hall starts as a sophomore. His role kind of morphs to fit the game, as there are 2-3 players more heavily leaned upon to score. Hall can, but does not need to in order to make a difference. Defends with some conviction. He does not take many outside shots and has not proven it to be a weakness or a game strength in game situations.

#74 [player_tooltip player_id='2275394' first='Jehmel' last='Madison'] (John Overton)

Jehmel is new to Tennessee and a revelation for the improved John Overton Bobcats. Last year they finished 8-17 and they currently sit at 10-1, so the improvement is dramatic, and the roster is not all that different with him as the most important addition. Madison is a short, powerful, piston of a young man. High energy. Capable. He plays with unusually mature poise for a sophomore point guard in 4a. The maturity sets him apart from his peers. If he gets to around 6'0", then there are not many differences between him and most college-bound point guards. Madison's skill is advanced beyond typical sophomores.

At 6-foot-4, [player_tooltip player_id='2136908' first='Daniel' last='Towles'] is agile and bouncy. More forward than guard currently, Towles succeeds around the rim and in traffic. Athletically, DT is ahead of the pack. Handle is pretty nice at his height. Springs are great.
