Continue ReadingThere’s been a ton of hype around Jacob Wilkins Jacob Wilkins 6’9″ | SF Grayson | 2025 State #14 Nation GA over the past two years and not only because he’s the son of Hawks legend, Dominique. He possesses a rare combination of size, freaky athleticism, and shooting ability. Wilkins is a gifted rim protector that can also guard the perimeter when he needs to. Whether Wilkins plays the 3 or the 4 in college will depend on how Georgia wants to use him but Bulldog fans should be celebrating the pickup.
Tylis Jordan Tylis Jordan 6’9″ | SF Shiloh | 2025 State #79 Nation GA has been rising in stock since the 2023-2024 season tipped off and currently has Shiloh sitting at 7-0. Jordan’s game has taken the steps that we all had hoped for. He’s added muscle to the frame which has strengthened his inside game even more. Meanwhile, he handles the ball extremely well and can score from multiple spots along the perimeter. Jordan has already received 19 D1 offers.
Chane Bynum Chane Bynum 6’9″ | SF KIPP Atlanta | 2025 State #188 Nation GA really grabbed our attention this summer playing with Game Elite. Bynum’s skillset has added some real polish and he’s now playing like a true wing as opposed to a slim stretch 4. He brings great size to the perimeter at 6’9 which allows him to get the jumper off over most guards. The weightroom will help Bynum weather contact inside and should take his game to another level. A handful of D1s offered him over the summer including Wake Forest and Georgia Tech.
While the other guys on this list might have more high-major attention, Eddie Cooke may have the most well-rounded game of them all. Cooke can score it effectively from all three levels and he’s developed into a knockdown shooter from three. At 6’7, he can defend guards on the perimeter or mix it up inside with the bigs. Cooke’s broad frame gives him a real advantage when rebounding and finishing inside. If Cooke can lead Berkmar on a deep run, his recruitment should pick up tremendously.
While we haven’t seen much of Ogunyemi in a Milton jersey yet, his arrival there should ultimately boost his profile. He’s proven to be a special talent with the Atlanta Celtics and playing high-level ball through the spring and summer should aid the transition to 7A. Ogunyemi is a strong, 6’7 athlete that wants to dunk everything and doesn’t fear contact at the rim. He can attack from the wing, hit the open jumper, or get a bucket from the low post. Ogunyemi’s work in the classroom should make him a popular prospect among Ivy League and high-academic schools.
