Nacir Beamon Nacir Beamon 6'2" | SG Nicolet | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SG – Nicolet
Beamon got Nicolet off to a great start on Tuesday, scoring six early points. A physical guard that features a unique game, Beamon poured in 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Beamon is a difficult matchup for a lot of opposing guards. At 6-foot-2 with a very strong upper body, Beamon can take you down in the post or even face up in the mid-range game. When Grafton went zone, Beamon was really effective in the soft spots, slashing into the gaps or hitting a 10-14 footer. Liked what Beamon did defensively too in Nicolet’s fullcourt press. Immediately after a made bucket, Beamon turned up the heat and was able to force a few turnovers, including two steals himself.
David Bolden David Bolden 6'0" | PG Nicolet | 2025 State WI – 2025 – PG – Nicolet
Another game where Bolden just ran the show like a veteran. When it was his time to score, Bolden was efficient and got high-percentage looks. He spent most of the game distributing at a high level and being a true floor general. Love the feel Bolden has for his teammates. He’ll put that ball right where they need it and always puts them in positions to be successful. A very unselfish guard who wants to win above all else, Bolden won’t even take a shot if he knows a teammate has a better look. Bolden finished with six points and six assists to two turnovers. He also had four steals on defense.

Rashaad Davis Rashaad Davis 5'10" | PG Nicolet | 2026 State WI – 2026 – G – Nicolet
Continue to feel that Davis is quite undervalued in this state. The sophomore guard had another electric offensive showing, scoring 23 points on 14 shots. I get it, the size isn’t ideal, but Davis (5-9) can flat out score the rock and has the tools to put up big numbers on a consistent basis. What Davis may lack in size, he makes up for in quickness and touch. He’s a guard who’s able to play among the trees, using blow-by speed on the ball and an array of finishing touches when he gets into the paint. Davis has a little bit of a sniper in him too as well, going 2-of-4 from 3-point range and he can mix in that one-dribble pull-up when defenders extend too far. Davis also registered three assists and two steals in Tuesday’s win.

Davion Hannah Davion Hannah 6'5" | SF Nicolet | 2025 State #33 Nation WI – 2025 – SF – Nicolet
Hannah scored 17 points in the first half alone. By then, the game was out of reach for Grafton. The state’s top-ranked player would finish with 19 points (6-16), 12 rebounds, five assists, five steals, and two blocks in a complete effort.
I know it’s a broken record at this point, but I’m still astounded by Hannah’s ability to not only be an alpha star player, but also a great teammate and someone who doesn’t mind doing the little things at times. Yeah, Hannah can get 30 any time he wants, but you also see him battling on the offensive glass, buying in defensively, busting his butt up and down the floor, and being a factor when there’s a 50-50 ball in play. A potential NBA prospect, Hannah continues to look really good as an isolation scorer. The 6-foot-6 junior has tightened his handle and is playing very low to the ground.
With his athletic ability and length, there are not many shots Hannah can’t create for himself.
Michael McNabb Michael McNabb 6'4" | CG Grafton | 2024 State WI – 2024 – G – Grafton
McNabb saw a lot of attention all night. Nicolet really sat on his left hand and swarmed him when he got into the paint. For most of the night, McNabb was going against multiple defenders and even saw some traps off ball screens he had to contend with. Still, the Northern Michigan commit turned in another solid effort. As much as teams want to pressure McNabb, you just can’t speed him up and force him into many bad shots or mistakes. Finishing with over 20 points and at least four assists, McNabb has an innate ability to carve up defenses in traffic. He’s a very long strider with excellent body control, which allows him to get to areas via angles you just don’t think are there. NMU has a history of pulling Wisconsin prospects that are borderline D1 players or as good as it gets for D2. Think McNabb certainly falls in that line.
