<p>Betz is a true freshman guard who is already in the rotation for the Maroon. He's rangy, assertive, and handles it. Betz reacts quickly and will go into traffic to get a rebound. He also has a soft touch when shooting. Betz mixes in step-backs to open up room for his shot and uses runners in the lane. He should only continue improving as he grows and gets more comfortable with his body. </p>

<p><strong>EB Brandon | 5'9" guard | St. Christopher's '26</strong></p>

<p>I liked the pressure that Brandon applied on the ball defensively. He picked up in the backcourt and looked to turn his man as many times as possible. Brandon was also a threat from three offensively for the Saints. </p>

<p>King is a lefty guard who plays with a lot of effort and shows no fear while on the court. He gets to the cup regularly and mixes in a complimentary in-between game. </p>

<p>Owinje is a three-point marksman with a high-arching shot. If you let him catch the ball and set his feet, go ahead and grab the ball from out of the net. Owinje has long arms that help him alter shots while walling up. I like his level of communication on defense and also his passing skills. </p>

<p>Welch is a nice sleeper in the local 2024 class. He has a good feel for the game and rebounds the ball relentlessly. Welch is an active defender who keeps a good posture. He has a broad-shouldered frame that is still filling out. Welch is a good passer who relocates off the ball. He is also a good communicator. </p>
