Noah Silkworth Noah Silkworth 6'4" | PF Ann Arbor Skyline | 2025 State MI
Noah Silkworth Noah Silkworth 6'4" | PF Ann Arbor Skyline | 2025 State MI
Silkworth caught my eye in a game recently. He showed the ability to be a real tone setter in the paint. Silkworth has an impressive frame that carries a lot of strength. He’s definitely a powerful player and not a thin 6’4″. Silkworth is active on the glass and carries the athleticism needed to compete with quicker posts.
Gabe Schnoor Gabe Schnoor 6'4" | SG Blissfield | 2024 State MI
Gabe Schnoor Gabe Schnoor 6'4" | SG Blissfield | 2024 State MI
I’ll start by saying this: Gabe Schnoor Gabe Schnoor 6’4″ | SG Blissfield | 2024 State MI should be a ranked prospect and will be at the next update. He’s a shooter through and through. Schnoor can be a game changer with his jumper and really was when I saw him play. He came out of the gates hot and built an immediate lead that held the rest of the way. Schnoor has the focus and ability to shoot over the top of his defender.
I’ve included Stelzer in these before, but he needs to be mentioned again. The young man can score the ball and has a confident and effective step back jumper. But he’s a very willing and effective passer as well. Stelzer can hit cutters to the rim and passes very well from the top.
Braylan Brown
Braylan Brown
Skyline has a nice post combo with Silkworth and Brown. Different types of players, but both were effective in their own game. Brown is a long post player that can challenge shots and protect the rim. I really like the upside that he brings to the table. Brown was very adept and active on the offensive glass and got a couple nice looks off put backs.
Chet Meyer
Chet Meyer
Meyer definitely caught my eye. If you read my work often, you know I’m way more of an eye test guy than a points scored guy. Meyer nailed the eye ball test. He was the perfect compliment to Schnoor in the backcourt. Meyer advanced the ball effectively and dependably with the dribble and got the ball to his shooters. He also showed the ability to fill it up himself if the defense stepped off him.
Turner is a familiar name on this list as well. If you tracked a plus-minus ratio when Turner was in the game as opposed to out of the game, his value would be obvious. He’s just consistently one of the faster and more athletic players on the court. Turner was able to break into the open floor off a few clean stops, beat the defense down the floor and pick up easy buckets.
Tyler Ganun
Tyler Ganun
A lot of Blissfield athletes played and shot well and very easily could be on this list. But I included Ganun because of his defensive influence down low. He filled the lane and made it tough for opponents to drive and get clean looks at the rim. Ganun also showed the ability to score and finish on the block.
Calen Keith
Calen Keith
Keith showed some really nice flashes in the game I saw. He’s a player to keep an eye on for sure. He carries some athleticism and brings a ton of energy and heart to his team. Keith just seems to be around the ball and able to put himself in position to make plays and get looks at the rim.
