Cody had 21 points and 1 made three pointer on Thursday afternoon as Torrey Pines (CA) was able to beat O’Dea (WA) 71-54. Shen was a terrific leader for the Falcons and was secure with the ball, got into the paint to create opportunities for himself and his teammates, and showed a soft finishing touch at the basket.
Doryan excelled on Thursday afternoon at both ends on his way to finishing with 22 points in Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy’s (TX) win over JSerra (CA) 60-42. Onwuchekwa went head-to-head with fellow 2024 Colorado signee Sebastian Rancik Sebastian Rancik 6’9″ | PF JSerra | 2024 State #89 Nation CA-S and got the best of him as he was able to score both inside and out as well as being a major factor on the glass. He has great size, solid feel around the basket, and can stretch his range out to the 3-point line confidently.
Sebastian finished with 18 points on Thursday afternoon in JSerra’s (CA) tough loss to Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (TX) 60-42. Rancik faced a tough duo of Doryan Onwuchekwa and Davion Adkins but held up well and was able to show several of the different ways that he can score the ball including off the dribble on the perimeter, as a catch and shoot option, and out of the high post.
Aidan continued his strong start to his Senior season with 16 points on Thursday afternoon in JSerra’s (CA) tough loss to Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (TX) 60-42. Fowler played tremendously hard at both ends to keep up with the Eagles talented guard trio and wasn’t phased by the on-ball pressure that he faced and got into the paint repeatedly off the dribble to create for himself and teammates.
Jaden finished with 26 points and 6 threes on Thursday afternoon in St. Augustine’s (CA) 77-67 win over St. Francis (NY). Bailes really showed off his shooting range in this one as he hit multiple threes from college and even NBA range. He provides a major catch and shoot threat, width and floor spacing, and dynamic guard play for whatever team he is playing for.
Ian had 26 points in St. Augustine’s (CA) win over St. Francis (NY) on Thursday afternoon 77-67. De La Rosa scored the ball from a variety of spots on the court and made plays for his teammates in a performance that encapsulated just how big of an impact he can have on a single game. He defends multiple positions well, rebounds at both ends, and has a very measured and patient offensive game.
Jake stole the show on Thursday night in Carlsbad’s (CA) hectic 82-81 win over St. Mary’s (AZ). Hall finished up with 38 points in an incredibly efficient scoring performance that saw him miss no more than 5 shots the entire night. He’s incredibly comfortable and confident in his game and knows just how to get to his spots on the floor and find the angle he needs to finish. Jake has terrific touch around the basket and has the skill, footwork, and body control to finish at difficult angles and around bigger defenders.
Styles finished with 33 points on Thursday night in St. Mary’s (AZ) 82-81 loss to Carlsbad (CA) in an incredibly exciting, back-and-forth game. Phipps scored the ball confidently at all 3 levels, was able to make tough shots in the face of pressure and through contact, and came up clutch in big moments for his team when they needed him. He also utilized his handle, quickness, and body positioning to get into the paint repeatedly.
