I have made it back to the hardwood and will be providing daily updates with players to watch and notable standouts making noise in their respective positions and classes! For this week, let's break down a few teams and highlight some of the top prospects of the week.

Jabril Hakim | G | 2024 | King | @Jabriiel1

Hakim has been a pivotal part of King's early success as he helped the Lions to a 7-game winning streak, 3-0 last week, and an overall record of 7-3. The 6-4, 165-pound senior has been under the radar but is a versatile prospect who has been providing solid defensive effort with consistent scoring on the offensive end, good enough to earn recognition.

In that 4-game stretch Hakim has averaged:

17.0 ppg

6.6 rpg

3.3 apg

[player_tooltip player_id='2145510' first='TJ' last='Drain'] | F | 2025 | Windermere | @tjdrain

Drain has put together consecutive productive performances for his team to start this year! He's a long forward prospect who can score off the pick and rolls with a smooth touch around the rim. Drain can also create steals on the defensive side with his lengthy arms that make it tough for the offense. He recently set the single-game school record with 36 longs scored against Olympia.

Jacob Douglas | G | 2025 | Sumner | @__JacobDouglas

2023 stats: 11.8 PPG - 3.2 assists - 2.1 steals

If you are looking for an electric guard that can make it happen in 1v1 situations, college coaches you have to get eyes on this kid. Really impressed with his film. His body control and handles at the top of the key are deadly but the ability to finish will separate him from other prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='1859307' first='Albert' last='McKinnie'] | PF | Class of 2024 | Bay | @Albert_Mckinnie

2023 stats: 13.6 PPG -

McKinnie is an underrated forward prospect with a good motor to run the floor and stay active on the boards. He's a potential double-double machine for the upcoming season while providing solid rim protection on the defensive side. Check the film, the 6'8 senior made a move to Chipley High for his senior season. He's a bucket that can generate some interest around his recruitment during this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217934' first='Talon' last='Brooks'] | SG | Class of 2025 | Osceola | @TalonBrooksATH

2023 stats: 17.2 ppg - 5.4 rebounds - 1.8 steals

Brooks is a well-built guard prospect who scores well in transition and can get hot from mid-range. Has a good jumper from behind the arc that he uses to light it up on the score sheet. He's a physical guard that can score out a variety of sets and finish consistently around the rim.
