District 10 Predictions (4A)
In this article:
A few weeks have elapsed. District 10-4A appears to be very, very deep. Not just deep in numerical value, but in team strength.
Which teams are going to dominate or pull away with the district?
District 10 Quarter-Season Prediction
1 – Independence
Independence is battle-tested already. Their schedule is insane with early season games against Bartlett, Cordova, Cane Ridge, and Hillsboro. The Eagles are able to win when they are not shooting great. They can defend the perimeter quite well and run a confounding defensive zone at teams. Tylan Lewis Tylan Lewis 6'2" | PG Independence | 2025 State TN “Nails” will be the district’s best on-ball defender. Jett is wonderful and winning tight games requires making important free throws. Count out Jett Montgomery Jett Montgomery 6'1" | PG Independence | 2024 State TN to do that. Houston Hicks Houston Hicks 6'8" | PF Independence | 2024 State TN is more physical this year. The team is not infallible, but they are my pick to win the regular season.
2 – Brentwood
The Bruins began the year without a blemish. The star is Daniel Cochran Daniel Cochran 6'7" | SF Brentwood | 2024 State TN , but he is not a ball-dominant star. One reason to count on them in big games is that they will rebound and they will make you work for your points. The best sophomore class in Williamson County.
3 – Ravenwood
Ravenwood runs out the most high-level seniors. They play wonderfully together. This team is strong enough to win the district, but they just might lack the overall team strength to win pivotal rebound battles. Evan Gainer Evan Gainer 5'9" | PG Ravenwood | 2024 State TN is a reliable, at-times great point guard. The team plays fast and together.
4 – Franklin
Franklin is an interesting team with Christian Brown Christian Brown 6'7" | SF Franklin | 2025 State TN back and healthy. Maybe one team in the district (Brentwood) can even defend him with a single man. Brown is just so, so strong. GIl Jones, Sam Mewborn Sam Mewborn 6'2" | SG Franklin | 2025 State TN , Davis Long Davis Long 6'0" | PG Franklin | 2024 State TN , and Sam Medalie play capably in the backcourt. The worry is that teams will run them off of the line and make them try to score in the paint. If teams let Franklin spread them out and take open three-pointers, then they are in big troubble.
5 – Nolensville
The Knights are the surprise team on the early going after demolishing Fairview on their floor. Beyond Jaden Clark Jaden Clark 6'5" | SG Nolensville | 2024 State TN and Lucas Pring Lucas Pring 6'6" | SF Nolensville | 2024 State TN , senior Adam Mickulin is piecing together a steady season. Despite their early success, NHS is more prone to streaky offensive play than the top 3 teams. Look for a breakout season from Kael Barney Kael Barney 6'1" | SG Nolensville | 2026 State TN .
6 – Page
Hunter Moss Hunter Moss 6'3" | SG Page | 2025 TN and Josh Spining are having big seasons early.
“Calvin Kotarba will be a big contributor this year,” shared Head Coach Jared Steet. “He is one of our two seniors. Hunter Moss Hunter Moss 6'3" | SG Page | 2025 TN has been off to a big start this year: 13.5 PPG.
Andrew Cucullu Andrew Cucullu 6'1" | PG Page | 2025 TN 6’1 PG 2025: 9 PPG, 3 APG
Pablo Hernandez 6’6 4 Man, 2025: 9 PPG, 6 RPG
Josh Spining 6’4 2025 shooting 50% from 3 thru 8 games with serious bounce
7 – Centennial
Key players are Daniel Patton Daniel Patton 6'6" | SF Centennial | 2026 State TN , Tanner Lee, Carter Ezell Carter Ezell 6'3" | SG Centennial | 2026 State TN , Ryland McKelvy Ryland McKelvy 6'0" | SG Centennial | 2026 State TN . Dominic Reed can get rebounds against anybody. McKelvy will be a 20 ppg guy soon.
8 – Summit
