Taky Prosper Taky Prosper 6’7″ | SF Oak Ridge Military Academy | 2024 State NC has been on a tear in the Oak Ridge Military Academy frontcourt to start the 2023-24 season. They’re 14-3 already on the season and Prosper has been an active presence on both ends of the floor in averaging 13.3 PPG, 13.0 RPG and 3.7 APG on 74 percent shooting from inside the arc in their last three games against Combine Academy Global, Central Carolina Prep and Oak Hill Red. He remains an underrated forward prospect for low DI and HM DII programs in the region to get eyes on given his penchant for playing both ends of the floor.

Landen Lyerly Landen Lyerly 6’6″ | PF Lincolnton | 2025 State NC is slowly beginning to emerge at Lincolnton High in North Carolina’s 2025 class. He’s a sizeable big man at 6-foot-6, 215 pounds who carving out quite the role for himself in the frontcourt. He’s producing 10.4 PPG, 13.0 RPG and 5.2 BPG including a 15-point, 16-rebound, 10-block effort against Stuart W. Cramer High. He’s emerging as a force to be reckoned with in the painted area on defense as the Wolves are off to a 4-0 start.
Davie High is off to a 5-0 start and one big reason is their anchor in the painted area in Jackson Powers Jackson Powers 6’6″ | PF Davie | 2025 State NC . Powers is a sizeable big man at 6-foot-6 for DII and DIII programs in the region to get eyes on given his ability to be active on both the perimeter and painted areas. He’s producing 11.2 PPG, 13.2 RPG, 2.6 BPG and 2.2 SPG for the War Eagles and has shown his ability to stretch the floor with his shooting ability. He’s recorded a double-double in three of their five victories so far to kick off the season. He’s a name to get to know in North Carolina’s 2025 class.

Abdulai Kabba Fanta Abdulai Kabba Fanta 6’11” | C Victory Christian | 2025 State NC is slowly becoming a big man name to know in North Carolina’s 2025 class at Victory Christian Academy. He’s off to a fast start in their frontcourt as he’s averaging 11.8 PPG, 9.8 RPG and 1.9 BPG through their first 15 games. He’s seemingly just scratching the surface of his abilities with multiple games with four blocks and six double-doubles already as his team sport’s a record of 11-4. At 6-foot-11, he’s shown he can utilize his size in a variety of ways to be effective on the floor this season.
6-foot-8 big man Grant Overman Grant Overman 6’8″ | C Willow Spring | 2025 State NC is starting to find his way around the painted area in the Willow Spring High frontcourt. He’s not the biggest scoring threat just yet but he has made things tough for opponents as far as defending goes. He’s currently producing 5.3 BPG along with 7.1 PPG and 4.6 RPG for the Storm. Despite the 2-5 start for his squad, he’s remained a consistent shot-blocking presence for opponents to become aware of. He notched 10 blocks in their close 62-61 loss to Holly Springs to close out the month of November. Look for him to find his stride and some traction on the recruiting trail very soon.
