Here the new names that you should know from the CSP Holiday Classic

[player_tooltip player_id='1288710' first='Josh' last='Femrite'] of Maple Grove (6'6 sr). Femrite is the high school version of Jack Reacher. Strong as they come, [player_tooltip player_id='1572689' first='Jalen' last='Wilson'] was only able to score four points on 1 of 8 shooting against Femrite. The seven boards and five scoring possessions in the paint were just a plus, the defense of Femrite was crucial.

[player_tooltip player_id='1452542' first='Ari' last='Gooch'] of Park Center (6'1 sr). This was my third Park Center game but my first one where Gooch really made a big impact in several ways. Had a couple nice feeds to cutters, grabbed six boards, hit a clutch late three and scored three time at the cup for his dozen points.

Ron Lee of BSM (6'0 sr). Lee is not a new name for most but I think his defensive potential is off the charts and I felt it needed to be mentioned someplace. He could be an incredible ball pressure defender as well as a fantastic defender in denial. Better offensively I think than people know too, scored on three of four attempts in the BSM loss.

Gannon McGuire of Maple Grove (6'0 sr). McGuire was scorching and he kept finding room to catch and hit big shots for the Crimson. His coach's line corner three was the most memorable of his six threes and 8 of 11 shooting overall for 26 points. A shooter you have to at least have a hand up on so he can't catch and you sure as heck need to talk on defense about where he will be.

[player_tooltip player_id='2362562' first='Brennan' last='Sauvageau'] of Forest Lake (5'11 sr). Brennan's shooting was game changing. His three early threes got Forest Lake the first half lead after getting down, his second stretch of three threes kept Forest Lake ahead with about six minutes to go, and his final three from 23 feet was at the shot clock buzzer and clinched the game. He scored all his attempts at the arc shooting 7 of 14 for 21 points. Scoring 17 points a game this year.

Braeden Turk of Forest Lake (6'5 sr). Turk is a long, agile forward that plays back to the basket and facing up. His agility surely caught my eye as did the ability to shoot and make a couple threes, and then go to the rim as a cutter or back to the basket finisher. Scored 14 points in the win over Cherry.
