The Chicago Elite Classic was held over the weekend. The event featured some of the best talent from the state of Illinois and beyond. Time to look at who shined in Chicago Elite Classic: Top Illinois 2024 Performers Pt 2!

[player_tooltip player_id='1874672' first='Alex' last='Daniels'] (Warren)

Daniels is one of the more slept on unsigned seniors in the class. Strong bodied combo forward that can play inside and out. Has some face up ability, rim runs, posts up, and finishes dump offs inside. Also rebounds at a high level. He had 16 points and 11 rebounds. Small colleges should be all over this!

Justin Scott (St. Ignatius)

The recent Miami (FL) football commit is a five-star recruit that is back after Iggy's run in the state playoffs. Scott didn't score in their game against Riverside Brookfield, but was a huge reason they were in the game as he grabbed 10 rebounds and had 3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285519' first='Stefan' last='Cicic'] (Riverside Brookfield)

Cicic is among the best uncommitted posts on the board in Illinois. The near seven footer has a really strong frame and was super impactful on the defensive end at the end of their win against St. Ignatius. He swatted multiple shots at the rim along with clearing the boards. Passes it well for a true five man and finishes with power around the rim with dunks and a go to right handed hook shot. He had 10 points (4-9 FG), 9 rebounds, 3 dimes, and 4 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157209' first='Will' last='Gonzalez'] (Curie)

Gonzalez is a RB transfer that brings length and perimeter feel for Curie. In this game he also displayed his weakness is becoming a strength as he knocked in 3 triples in a game where he had 11 points (3-8 3PT), 3 rebounds, and 2 dimes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157230' first='Morez' last='Johnson'] (Thornton)

The Illini commit played with a ton of toughness as he dislocated his finger in the first half, had it popped right back into place, and came back on the floor diving after loose balls and playing with his usual toughness on the interior. Takes charges, flies in for put backs, and was fouled through contact. Wasn't his biggest game, but the top senior in Illinois did what he needed to for his team to get the win. Finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2083269' first='Chase' last='Abraham'] (Thornton)

Abraham was fantastic in their victory against Kenwood. He continues to elevate his stock each and every game he plays as a senior and this was no different. Knocked down key shots from the perimeter and scored in the open floor with slick takes. Good free throw shooter. Went for 20 points in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285479' first='Isaiah' last='Green'] (Thornton)

Green did the little things to be effective against his former team. In addition to getting in the paint and foul line for scores he set up his teammates and as always was a monster defender on the perimeter. Green had 7 points, 3 dimes, and 5 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157346' first='Jaden' last='Smith'] (Kenwood)

Smith had maybe the best high school game we have seen of him in his career. The Arizona State commit went head to head with Johnson on both ends. Offensively he displayed a nice hook shot, finished multiple and-1s, and hit two threes. Defensively contested shots inside and made things tough in the paint for Thornton. The future Sun Devil had 16 points (6-7 FG) (2-3 3PT), 6 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1373436' first='Angelo' last='Ciaravino'] (Mt. Carmel)

Northwestern commit continues to get better each time we see him play. The athletic combo forward showed flashes of brilliance against Vashon. The athleticism and strength improvements have taken his game to new levels with his already impressive skill set. Creative ball handler that can also play above the rim throwing down several nasty dunks along with multiple big blocks. Perfect fit for Northwestern! He had 20 points (8-19 FG), 8 rebounds, 4 dimes, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285482' first='Christian' last='Uremovich'] (Mt. Carmel)

The Stevenson transfer fits in perfect with the Caravan. He is a tough minded power forward that cuts, passes, and is great at running the floor. Crashed the glass for put backs, pick/roll and-1, multiple rim runs, etc. Such a productive player within their system not running a single play for him as he had 16 points (7-8 FG).
