Tyler Bergmans Tyler Bergmans 6'2" | SG South Burlington | 2024 State New E , 6’2 G – South Burlington H.S. Class of 2024
Tyler’s two-way talent has been shining as of late. His efficient scoring, often coming off of tough slashes and crafty cuts into post-ups, has placed his avg. on the season right above 20 point per game. Moreover, his tough on-ball defense and physicality around the rim has bolstered SB’s rebounding and interior presence. Tyler’s opening month has been crucial to SB’s strong start.
Owen Eaton Owen Eaton 6'2" | CG Rice Memorial | 2025 State New E , 6’2 G – Rice Memorial H.S. Class of 2025
There’s no doubt about it, Owen has been Rice’s most prolific scorer. His athletic creation and legit 3-level scoring demand more than one defender. He’s been getting buckets all different ways; pull-ups from deep or the mid-range, tough slashes, and the open court scoring created from his defensive work and others is plentiful. Plus, his court vision and awareness create plenty of looks for others. A pure scorer and savvy creator.
Freddie Bacon, 5’11 G – Colchester H.S. Class of 2026
Freddie takes the bacon for the performance of December, and possibly the year. The 2026 PG put up a 41-piece a week or two back, collecting those buckets with crafty slashes featuring floaters and slippery finishes around bigs at the rim. Additionally, his 3-point shooting has been solid alongside a bounty of FTs. Lastly, his distribution has kept CHS balanced, and defenses have been reluctant to send too much help in fear of his creation for others. Never sped up and so solid.
Rex Hauser Rex Hauser 6'5" | SF St. Johnsbury Academy | 2025 State New E , 6’5 G/W – St. Johnsbury Union H.S. Class of 2025
With Hauser, it’s exceptional two-way effort. Rex guards 1-4 and can switch on anything. With his combination of length, athleticism, and IQ, he’s been an absolute force defending on the ball and when’s playing safety off of it. In turn, Hauser has been giving offenses trouble and creating plenty of transition opportunities. He’s a fantastic open court finisher, and in the halfcourt he’s an efficient shooter, slasher, and distributor. One of VT’s best, and his blend of IQ, work ethic, and size translates perfectly to the next level.
Pascal Munezero, 5’9 G – Burlington H.S. Class of 2027
An athletic, high-IQ guy with unlimited hustle, Munezero opened the season on a tear. The freshman averaged around 17 points a night thru BHS’ first three games, finding lots of scoring out of the fullcourt pressure. His relentless on-ball defense and hawk-like tendencies away from the ball contributed to tons of tough decisions and turnovers. From there, Pascal finishes at a high rate at the cup and has flashed the 3-ball a bit too. Unfortunately, Pascal will be sidelined going through January with a wrist injury. I see him picking right up where he left off upon returning.
